It seems most HoI-players are very fond of playing the Germans. Of course, you direct the action and awesome potential, but doesn´t it get repetitive playing Germany over and over? Doesn´t events and situations just repeat itself? And if you won with Germany, is there really any challenge trying again?

If you play a pathetic minor like Sinkiang there is always room for improvement, hehehe... :D

As always:

1. Canada (to train)
2. USSR (meat and bones of the game and of the historical war)
3. Rep.Spain (to learn economy, flexibility and prioritization)
4. Japan (for sheer naval shenanigans)

I hardly ever play other nations. Can't really get into Britain at all, USA is too easy, China is too messy.

France could be interesting this time round, however. So we'll see.

Deutschland, uber alles!

I'll never have so much time to try different nation.
As usual, I'll make some games with vanilla, then I'll make some more tries with mods and then ... it will be the hour of next new Paradox game!

I prefer playing the bad guys most of the time.

So obviously germany will be my first, then perhaps the Soviet union..;)

Followed by Japan which I think/hope will be much more fun in this game. (and hopefully the Japanese AI is much better as well)

The pacific just didnt feel right in HOI2.
Who says Germany is the bad guy?

I will play with Germany first, then probably Yugoslavia and then probably Germany again, again, and again....

I usually try either Sweden or Finland first to learn the game. After this I will play Germany most of the time but Italy, Japan and UK are equally as fun to play. US is boring to play because it usually are too easy and they join rather late in the war. I have never played USSR and I don't think I will in HoI3 either, my time are rather limited so I have to go with a smaller number of countries.

First will be Chile of course, but surely I'm going to mod some things so there could be a real chance of getting a second pacific war and maybe something even bigger. Then, I think I will try with Canada or Australia, next UK and finally Germany, after that could come the rest of nations :D.

Communist China or Republican Spain.

Romania is also a good nation to learn the ropes.

What?

Well...if you use the freedom cheat and fiddle with the sliders...wait, no slider any more...ok, if you spend no leadership on espionage and get couped you might have a nice democratic gearmany. and since this game follow paradox rules, geramany is not that bad anyway
