It seems most HoI-players are very fond of playing the Germans. Of course, you direct the action and awesome potential, but doesn´t it get repetitive playing Germany over and over? Doesn´t events and situations just repeat itself? And if you won with Germany, is there really any challenge trying again?
If you play a pathetic minor like Sinkiang there is always room for improvement, hehehe...![]()
Who says Germany is the bad guy?I prefer playing the bad guys most of the time.
So obviously germany will be my first, then perhaps the Soviet union..
Followed by Japan which I think/hope will be much more fun in this game. (and hopefully the Japanese AI is much better as well)
The pacific just didnt feel right in HOI2.
Who says Germany is the bad guy?
Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik, of course.
I usually try either Sweden or Finland first to learn the game. After this I will play Germany most of the time but Italy, Japan and UK are equally as fun to play. US is boring to play because it usually are too easy and they join rather late in the war. I have never played USSR and I don't think I will in HoI3 either, my time are rather limited so I have to go with a smaller number of countries.
Communist China or Republican Spain.
Romania is also a good nation to learn the ropes.
What?
