Not too large a country, with plenty of that new political party-stuff to play with and some time, but not as long as three years, before the war starts...
Republican Spain, that is.
SCW is to me the war I'm most interrested after WWII and Winter/Continuation War, and I've played it dozens of times with both sides, always crying for the lack of provinces that takes 3/4 of the fun away. But it seems that we now have some hope for something completely different...
1.Australia to learn the game
2.Japan. The IJN is just so much fun in HOI2
3.Germany. Easy but fun dominating the planet.
4.USA I Normally handicap myself. My USN in HOI2 is just immense.
5.UK So many fronts so little army.
Being new to HoI I'm probably going to first try fighting as Republican Spain. Depending how that goes I'll probably side with the allies and watch the Germans come storming over the Pyrenees’s to dispatch me in swift order… or not!
I would play as sweden first so that I can get a feel for the mechanics of the game and the atmosphere and maybe even make my presence felt a little bit.
I was hoping to play as Liechtenstein, Andora, Monaco or Vatican...
But at least Egypt and India could be fun
Imagine Egypt rising against Brittish when Romel gets close to Alamain or even before - during his first offensive in Africa (combine Greece and Syria/Iraq uprising + Egypt... Brittish are lost)
