And compared to modern German, Luther's spelling is all off. But if the modern revised versions have any resemblance to the original version, you can very easily understand what he's writing about. He writes in short sentences, and makes his point very clear.
Unfortunately I have no idea where one could take a look at the original bible, with the real 1545 spelling and sentence structure...
