Fire in the Sky - An alien COOP fanfic AAR

Hello everyone. This will be a joint fanfic AAR by Americafuher and myself. I think this may be the first joint fanfic AAR ever so wish us luck. I will do the alien point of view, and he will do the human point of view. Backstory will be explained as we go.

Chapter 1​

Location: Edge of the Alpha Centari System - Centarian Command Ship
Date: T'Ghaphorp 3, 55622 12:00 (January 1, 1902)

Command Ytterking stepped onto the bridge of the Centarin command ship's bridge. Looking around he noticed everything was in order.

Ytterking: Helm, status!

Helm Officer: On course for Sol III. ETA, 40 years sir.

Ytterking: Communications, set the computer to record reports from our infiltrators automaticly.

Communications Officer: Aye aye sir.

Ytterking: There is nothing more we can do for almost 40 years. Everyone get to your stasis pods. I hope they all work this expedition was very rushed, but we need the humans resourses rather quickly.

Within 10 minutes all 5000 on the ship were in stasis, as were the other 2 million on other ships.

Location: Low Earth Orbit
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55622 00:00 (December 29, 1901)

Across the night sky, one hundered metors fell to Earth. So fell in Europe, some in Africa, some in America, but all contained one Centarian agent disguized as a human. They would secretly infiltrate ordinary human life, collecting data on lifestyles, government, and most importantly, millitary aspects of Earth. The fleet would arrive in 40 years to begin the invasion, but that wasn't nearly enough time to preform all tasks required of the agents. They would need to work quickly if the invasion were to be a surprise.

Chapter 2​

Location: A Secret Meeting of Centarian Agents - Siam
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55660 00:00 (December 29, 1939)

Deep the jungles of Siam, a rare meeting of Centarian agents is taking place.

Group Leader: This meeting will now come to order. We have accomplished much of our work. I congradulate all of your on your effort. We recived the battle plan from the automated computer on board the mother ship. Tgrethsk here will give you the details.

Tgrethsk: The computer has determined the best stratagy for conquering this plannet, is to expand from a heavy fort, preferably on an island. There are many such locations of choice in the "Pacific Ocean". The computer has chosen "Midway Island" as the best target for a base. Unfortuantly, there is little we can do to aid this.

Group Leader: Well, we can still help in other ways. Hyrogp, what is the status of the defectors?

Hyrogp: We have several localized groups of defectors. The largest are in Africa. In the 2 years we have left, we should be able to get sufficent weapons to arm them all.

Group Leader: Excellent! There is nothing else to discuss. Everyone remeber to pick up the latest data packet, we don't do these often enough to get you a new one. And please, don't forget to re-color yourself again like some of you did. We can't have a bunch of UFO junkies running around yelling at every odd sighting. This meeting is now ajourned.

Location: Geostationary Orbit above Midway Island
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55662 00:00 (December 29, 1941)

The Centarian Fleet loomed high above the Earth over their intend target. All ships were in a flurry of activity preparing for the invasion. Piolets were getting ready with their aircraft. Troops were cleaning their guns. All personel were drilling, as a highly unpopular desicsion was made to use old equipment, for fear of humans learning secrets of advanced weapons.

Ytterking: Why do we have to use ancent weapons again?

Sub-Commander Y'gg: We can't have humans learning our secrets. What if they capure a mech walker! That would be a horrible blow to us if they make more!

Yitterking: I see your point, what do we have to use in this invasion then?

(this means our real world equivelent)

Y'gg: All of these are from our own period like this. We are using ER-16s four our ground weapons (M-16). Heavy weapons are the SMG (M249 SAW) and the AVRL (LAW rocket launcher). In the way of land vehicles we have the ATST ((not star wars) Hum-vee) and the ET-11 (M1A1 Abrams MBT). In the air we have the EF-15 (F-15) and the EB-2 (Stealth Bomber). At sea we have hovercraft and some various subs, but that is our weak spot considering the homeworld is desert. Also for fire suport we have the AA1 an automatic artillery system that with only one gun can put out as much fire as an entire "Earth" battery. It was built specificly for this. And if things get tight we can unleash our standard army units like the mech walkers.

Ytterking: Good, what have our infiltrators said.

Y'gg: While we were in transit, they had their first world war, an ugly affair with both sides in trenches most of time. Currently they are engrosed in their second, witch will make our job alot easier.

Ytterking: Excellent! We are ready to invade any time now. Tell the Special Forces they have the go ahead to land and being causing mayhem at the base we wish to take first.

Y'gg: Right away sir!

And so streaked down a single falling star into the night above the Pacifc. In it were 20 Centarian Special Forces soldiers.

UPDATE!!!

Captain Jon is reviewing his P47 for the practice flight scheduled for tommorow at sunrise. He is double checking the fuel line when he hears someone come up behind him, all sneaky like. He turns around and is ready with his pistol, when he sees its just Privet Kullins. "Kullins why are you sneakin around behind me. Arent you supposed to be on partrol?"
Kullins laughts, "Ya, but Tim and John are playin' cards, and they said i should come see you till they done." He walks over closer to him, "Whatcha doing?"
"Im fixing this fuel line, see here, that dumbass rookie shot me while we were flying, the gas leaked out all over. We never reported it though, it was just an accident."
"Hey Kullens! Get your arse over here, we gotta check the beaches for those damn Japs." Tim yells at him.
"Ha ha, ya, damn japs," John echoes next to him.
"Shut up John."
"See ya later Captain," Kullins says to Jon.

Kullins catches up to Tim and John. "What took you guys?"
"I just won fifty bucks off John over there." He pulls out the wad of cash, "He's not very bright." Tim and Kullins both laugh.
The both look back to see John is no longer behind them, "Hey, he John? Where did you go?" Kullins asks. Kullins watches as blood shoots out of the back of John.
"Oh shit!" He draws his Thompson and begins spraying bullets into the nearby vegitation. He gets hit in the arm, the gun runs out of ammo and he drops to the ground. He just lays there, completly quiet. Maybe i killed them, he thinks to himself, damn Japanese. The base should have heard my shooting thou.

Chapter 4​

Location: Decending through the Earth's Atmoshpere
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55660 00:45 (December 29, 1939)

Squad Leader D'Ldr and his squad of Centarian Marines were rapidly approaching Earth's surface.

D'Ldr: Listen up squad, our job is to start causing a bit of a ruckus down there and survive for almost 6 hours relaying intel. Be quite about everything you do. Any questions?

Suqad: No sir!

D'Ldr: Good ETA 5 minutes untill we hit the waves.

Five minutes later a meteror strikes the waves near Midway Island. It is realy a Centarian drop ship. The squad gets in a mini sub just big enough for all of them and head towards the island.

Ten minutes later, the squad disemarks and heads into the jungle along the perimeter of the island. They slowly make their way towards the center untill they come to a hanger.

D'Ldr: Even with superior tech, it might be a good idea to take their planes out. J'Krata, flank left and knife any piolets in the area, then set timed charges on all the planes set to go off at 06:00. The rest of us will keep in the treeline and watch for patrols.

Two minutes pass and a patrol comes out of the hangers.

D'Ldr: What da ya say we get a little practice in. Sneak up behind em guys. Keep those guns ready just incase.

Three marines slowly crawl up behind the unsuspecting patrol. They get the first, then the second, with the thrid turning around to see wahts happening. D'Ldr lets out a volly from his gun but the soldier manages to get off a few shots, hitting him in the legs.

D'Ldr: Run guys! Get out of here there gonna be on top of us any second now! Leave me I'll deal with em.

The squad turns and daskes back into the night just as the base alarm starts going off.

D'Ldr: Well, there goes our mission.

What D'Ldr wasn't counting on was the sniper. He saw D'Ldr lying wounded and shot his gun, making in ineffective. The D'Ldr saw a small squad comming towards him. Once they were upon him, they realized this was no human, obvious by the orange skin.

Corperal: Guys, I think the Capt'n might wanna see this, get him with that tranqulizer you cary Doc.

D'Ldr tried to protest but was out cold before he could utter a word.

UPDATE

"Put those chains on him, we dont know what he can do." Corporal Higgs yells to the soldiers. Two soldiers put chains around the creatures wrists and legs. The whole squad though he was a Jap, "Those big heads on the scientists are gonna roll when they see this." The soldiers around him laugh.
"Bill, why dont you give 'er a smotch. Give ya five bucks."
"Me two! I'll give ya five bucks." Some other soldiers nod in agreement.
"No way guys, i dont know where that things been. Why dont you kiss her George. Cant be any worse than kissin Ted." George jumps at him and punches him right in the nose.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing. We got a serious situation here and your acting like children. Get this thing in the plane so we can take it to," he looks at his clipboard, "Area 51."
The soldiers grab the creature off the ground and push it onto the plane. "Filthy thing, what is it anyway sir."
Higgs looks at the creature and then at Bill, "I dont know, were hoping the big heads can figure it out." Higgs walks over and checks that the gag is still in the creatures mouth. "Damn thing, glad it cant make any noise. Probably screech or try to bite us."
The plane engines roar to life and Higgs buckles in.
George says, "Oh boy, get to smell that thing for the next ten hours."
"Shut up and keep an eye on it, im gonna hit the hay."

Chapter 5​

Location: Jungle perimiter
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55660 05:45 (December 29, 1941) (All previous dates were off by two years, this can be blamed on alien computer malfunction if you like)

The team was hiding in the jungle, looking at the American base. After finding an alien, they dismissed the attack as a single alien. Stupid humans! They watched as D'Ldr was put aboard a plane. Many wanted to rescue him, but it was in plane view (no pun intended). After arguing for a while, witch Centariuns do quite well without a leader, they decided to do something right as the invasion force was comming down, to not give away what was going on.

At 15 minutes untill the invasion, the plane started taxing for a take off, and the following conversation took place.

Squad Seargent K'Liph: Guys look! We have to act now.

Private Ort: He's as good as dead, we can't rescue him now.

Specialist Rlllting: We have to shoot it down! We can't let them learn anything about us, they could make biological weapons aginst us.

K'Liph: We owe it to him to make sure he lives, we have to give him a chance. I have an idea. As its real low, we use that AVRL rocket launcher and take out the left engine. It will crash at low level into the sea, but he could survive.

Rllting: I think I can do it, give the word when to fire.

And so the Centarian squad set up along the jungle edge, ready to repel attacks once they shoot the plane down. Fortunatly, the invasion was close enough that it would still have surprise.

On the other side of the base, a few mechanics watched the plane soar into the sky.

Mechanic 1: Another good take off eh.

Mechanic 2: Now its up to them to take care of it, our job is done.

Mechanic 1: Yeah, lets go ge...

A Centarian rocket wooshes throguh the air and strikes the planes left engine. Flames and smoke billow out of the wounded plane as it started rapidly desending towards the sea. It crashed with a loud splash and they could see a person go sailing from the plane right before the crash. Base alarms were already going off as all the men ran out of the barracks to be greeted with machine gun fire from the jungle. Sadly, the lowly mechanics were some of the first to get ripped to shreads as they gawked at the smoldering plane.

UPDATE!!

Higgs looks at the plane crash into the water, "Damnat! What the hell is going on here." He turns towards the base to see men falling to the ground, the sound of the machine gun fire finally reaching his ears. "Oh my god, its an attack!" He watches his men fall helplessly to the ground in streams of bullets. He looks down at the last second before crashing into the water. He quickly cuts the parachuet cords and swims to the surface. He looks over to see a life vest floating in the water. He begins to swim towards it, when he reaches it, he grabs on and begins paddling towards shore. Higgs hears splashing and looks behind him only to see nothing. He is suddenly jerked under water and put in a choke hold. He takes his knife and stabs for the creatures gut, he can feel its arms tense around his body when he makes impact. The creature begins swimming towards the surface, clearly in need of air. Higgs, a marine, took lessons in holding breath pulls it back under. The creature begins thrashing about, Higgs can feel the knife slide past his leg and to the depths below.
The creature stops thrashing and goes limp, suddenly Higgs is jerked out of the water and staring into the eyes of another one of the bastards. Only problem is, two more are there, with guns, on some sort of flotation device.
"Shit..." Thats the last thing he says before being knocked out.

Sounds like the Worldwar series to me...

But its cool! You have to bring out the mech walkers and neutron blasters and such for your assault on the pesky humans' capitals! Imagine the Reichstag dissolving under a laser beam, or an explosive-metal bomb landing on Washington. Oh, wait...

Keep it up, soon Earth will be another world in the Centarian Empire!

Chapter 6​

Location: Jungle perimiter
Date: T'Ghaphorp 1, 55660 05:58 (December 29, 1941)

D'Ldr, despite his people lacking in aquatic abillities, managed to get a good jump on the puny Earthling. Unfortuantly, he hadn't counted on him pulling out a knife. He awoke being pulled out by none other than Private Ort.

Ort: Man, we all thought you were a gonner. The rest of the forces are comming down in two minutes.

D'Ldr: Thats good, very good, just let me sit here for a minute.

Ort: But what should we do with your luggage.

D'Ldr: Ohh, him. Well, I've always wanted a pet money, lets keep him. Tie him up for now, we can put him someplace once the base gets set up.

As if on cue, bright lights started steaking down. Most hit in the jungle and ocean, but a few hit on teh run way. Centarian shock troopers immedatly started pooring out, adding the the slaughter of the defending US forces. It took only a few more seconds for the defenders to start fleeing wildly back into their base. They might have been able to deal with one squad of special ops, but not an army large enough for world conquest. In the next minute, drop pods with armored units began streaking down, along with teh command pod, where Ytterking stepped out.

Ytterking: Ahh, what a buitiful day for mayhem. When are those construction pods going to arrive B'B?

B'B: Five minutes sir. At this rate all the humans will be dead or captured by then and construction can begin immediatly.

Ytterking: Excellent! Find me the leader of our spec ops team, I think they need some medals for rattling the humans' cage a bit.

Indeed, it was a fine day for mayhem. Just on schedual the humans had been totatly wiped out in those 5 minutes. In fact, may just gave up, being so in awe of the alien invasion, but many were cut to pieces in the crossfire. When no humans remained outside, the survivors were given the chance to surrender, and all of them did...

If this was like the WorldWar series, you'd have every second update mentioning how the humans, though less advanced than the aliens, also progress a lot faster, and every third update would contain a musing about 'Tosevite sexuality'. We should be glad it's not.

UPDATE!!

(Centuri Perspective)
Am'Uhur walks up onto the deck of the Ohrit'a, a Bhsin anti-matter class submarine. Am'Uhur is slightly smaller than other Centurians and he uses all black paint, with the exception of dark blue spots around his eyes, he uses it to defy leadership. He looks through his pair of binoculars out to sea. One of his pitiful aides come up to him, "What do you want?" He barks at him.
The aide winces, then says, "Fleet Admiral, you are not supposed to wear paint, your not Special Ops." Am'Uhur snarls at him, the aide continues, "we have our current orders. We are to sail for a small group of islands, there coordinates are..."
Am'Uhur cuts him off, "I dont care where they are, thats not my job, its the navigators. What restrictions did they put on me?"
The aide flips through the booklet, "We cannot sink unarmed vessels."
Am'Uhur looks at his aide, and waves him off, "I cannot sink cargo ships carrying supplies to my enimies! Thats insane." He goes down the ladder into the control room, "Prepare to dive, ive spotted an enemy ship on the horizon."
"How deep sir!" His helmsman asks.
"Periscope depth, i want to watch us sink the ship." He can hear the water rushing over the submarine as it lowers into the waves. Am'Uhur's fleet, the 1st Centarian Submarine Fleet, dives beneath the waves. His fleet consists of a military portion, a supply portion, and a transport portion. "Tell all other sub commanders to stand down. I'll sink this one myself." He puts his eyes up to the periscope and begins sighting in the vessel.
Sadly, before he can, his radioman calls him, "Sir, To'kle, Captain of the Zanat, requests you on the radio."
Am'Uhur snarls and grabs the radio, "What do you want?"
"Fleet Admiral, you are targeting a unarmed vessel, it is not advised for you to do such a thing. You are already under watch because of misbehavior."
"To'kle, my friend..." Am'Uhur smashes the radio on the wall, he shrugs, "I dont know that i cant sink it, i was never told it wasn't a warship." He smiles, and walks over to the periscope. He sights in the ship and gives the order to fire, he then orders the subs to proceed to this, 'Hawaii' as the moths call it.
