Just throwing it out there, but I find that the Finno-ugric portraits might be suited more to the Nords. I haven't played Skyrim in a while, but I get reminded of it more with the Finnish portraits than the Norse ones. Anyone else see it?

Depends though. Personally I prefer the Finno-Ugric portraits to the Nordic ones, (of which the artist who made them was also the same one who did the old horrendous cartoon-potato Mediterranean portrait pack). On the other-hand, I believe that the Finno-Ugric sprites should be relegated to the Skaal and other Atmoran peoples, considering the clothing they wear is far more suited to the more Arctic conditions faced by those living further north.

The clothing is easily changed so that the Nords can use the Finnish faces and the norse clothing. Or by sprites do you mean the unit sprites?

The units are 3D models.

In that case then I affirm that the Ugric portraits would probably go well with the clothes of the Norse portraits. The models for the units already go well with it.

Edit: So I tried changing the graphical culture type for the Nords to Ugric and also replaced all norsegfx with ugricgfx in the birth events, but the children of the Ugric nords still don't get the Nord trait, can anyone tell me what I'm missing?
