Something that has always bugged me about the map is Finland's provinces, notably Kola. I feel that it's very ahistorical. I sort of doubt that Sweden and Novgorod would go to the table and be like "Lets just like... draw a curve going up halfway of Finland, and then when it's like 75% through Finland close to Sweden, we draw a line going up, and slightly back!"
I personally would much prefer if Finland has provinces that are closer to what they were when the Russian Empire ruled them, since most of the time of the game, historically, Sweden owned it, and it wouldn't make much a difference historically if it was with Finland's modern borders, since nobody else but Sweden and Russia owned Finland.
It would simply look better, and be more historically accurate.
