heartsofiron.fi competition: Win HOI3 / Suggestions we've received posted now here!
Background of the heartsofiron.fi community:
http://www.heartsofiron.fi is a totally free community maintained by Hearts of Iron (and other Paradox title) fans. It is a non-commercial community and this is the basis for this competition. Because we are a non-profit organization and recent advertise incomes exceeded our server costs, we decided to use the few extra euros to buy & give out Hearts of Iron 3 games to our members. By finnish laws organization such as heartsofiron.fi cannot do any profit whatsoever. We want to promote the Hearts of Iron game series and in addition we get new members for our multiplayer community (heartsofiron.fi is primarily meant as a "home base" for finnish Hearts of Iron multiplayer games). And also we want to bring the game series that we love so much out into the public. We have posted information about our competition also into all major finnish gaming sites.
Restrictions:
Unfortunately we have a lot of members that speak only finnish, so this competition has to be restricted into finnish language only. The competition involves writing ideas, suggestions and stories about Hearts of Iron 3 in finnish.
The competition:
In order to hand out our support to Paradox, we decided not to just draw out the game(s) to random people. Instead we will draw the winner from all the ideas, suggestions or improvement suggestions received. We will also translate the suggestions into english and send the selected ones here after receiving enough. Unfortunately we are a finnish community and we have a lot of people who speak only finnish. That is why we have to restrict the language to include finnish speaking people only.
The actual winner(s) will be selected closer to the games release, so there is plenty of time to take part. But the sooner we get ideas and suggestions, the faster we can provide all this to the forums and Paradox.
