It was the first time in 1000 hours Stellaris that I could finish a precursor hunt. I moved into the system, had it surveyed, and that's it. Nothing there but a barren world and 5 energy. Thanks, Paradox.
Seriously, I think the mission is bugged and it wasn't fixed since the game came out. I got lucky and had the "Volutrauma" and according to reddit I should have found a ringworld. At least users get it in one of three cases according to popular narrative.

Reloaded the game and got my ringworld.
