Well, the political info in the first screen says that it's a democracy so it's not a monarchy anymore. I just don't think your flag changes just because your form of government does.

About the soldiers: for the time being (until Paradox decides how to solve the manpower issue) we have to think of the divisions as regiments, so then the soldier POPs represent fewer actual people than other types of POPs.

I think I'll try Brazil soon, it seems to have potential.

If the flag doesn't change, then it must be a bug of some sort...flags ARE supposed to change, there are event command for it.

I'm worried about the first screenshot. No change in borders in Germany...except for French being all over it. WTH? Does AI ever unify Germany or Italy?
