Ok, I've spent quite some time searching that area.. :). I'm also curious how I'll manage to find the other subs before the time runs out. Guess I need to do a full scale launch from the hangarship. I've been trying to get that ship closer to the action to prevent my planes to run out of fuel. :)

Hi gnageren,

Thanks for the feedback. My first comment is that you seem to be doing the sonobuoy search in a too large area. There is simply so much space between each buoy that you need luck to catch it. If you have a hint, 10-20 km radius is usually what you want on a search pattern.

The playthrough/tutorial video shows exactly how to take out the first sub. The second is hard; you need to get your poseidons to sneak up and search without drawing the attention of enemy fighters, or at least use fighter escorts to keep them away. If you can kill the awacs plane, that will be great.

Thanks guys,

I'll see if I can give it another try today (got to give the family some attention too.. they don't understand we have a war going on!) :)
When you say patrol box. Do you then mean to set a few waypoints like a square? Or can you actually select an entire area and have a plane patrol it?

if you drag when isuing a move order with the right mouse button, you patrol around the edge of the square you form.

Also, the sub moves, I think those are the starting locations, so allow for that.
