Find the bug (Many hands make short work)

I'm racing someone to get Great Khan as Mongolia the fastest in-game, but my game is constantly crashing. Myself and a few others are digging through the game to try to find the cause, clearing AI wars to see if crashes still happen, but no luck. If anyone wants to download the save and try to figure out what's causing the CTD, I'd be much obliged.

Edit: In the executedcommands.log I'm getting a lot of "[session.cpp:520]: Attempted to execute invalid order with token assign_leader" Whatever that means.

Edit 2: Thuringia revolted with a 130+ year old heir. It seems to coincide with the crashes. Killing him appears to make the game run steady. What makes this cause a crash?

I believe there's a bug where if a state gets wiped off the face of the map their heir remains in limbo for some reason. When the state returns it reinstates that heir. If the heir reaches an unnatural age in limbo (say 100) it seems to cause crashes.

There's likely a bug report topic floating around somewhere but the search feature is useless on this site.

Indeed, that's what I've discovered. Now to figure out a way around this in an ironman game where annexing said nation won't be easy.

It messed up my ironman game, too.

This is indeed the well-known ancient heir bug. You'll need to set this game aside until the next patch is released.

Well your only other option is to somehow get Thuringia annexed before whenever you crash.

For me, it eventually started crashing on a specific date. One day after the bloody autosave.

Even then, that might not work. Maybe.

Okay, so the game crashes when these senile old heirs die. I need to annex this country asap, since I doubt his young father(?) will die before him.
