Financial districs from dev diary, just a service or conected to dividends and invstment pools?

As in the title. The buidlings dev diary made a short passing remark on financial districs. So what I am wondering is how they will work. Will it just be a building providing a service? Easiest way of doing it but kind of boring and unintersting, a factory that turns paper into financial services.. What I am really woindering is if it will somehow be connected to the investment pools, building ownership and dividends. That would be much more intersting, but also sound more complicated to code. What do you think=

Just had a thought, what if pops need to buy financial services and put them into the investment pool, and that is how the investment pool gets money? No financial services no investment pool?

The biggest shortcoming in the Vicky 2 economy IMO is the lack of a financial sector, POPs only save money and don't loan it out. I hope this isn't just a bit of flavor.

We'll see when we get more info on investment pools. The problem is the quarternary economic sector was really barely a thing at the time in terms of the volume of both people employed and economic activity flowing through it, so it's not that much of a priority to include in the game. The primary and secondary sectors, resource extraction and manufacturing, were much more important back then with the tertiary general service sector beginning to come into its own in the late game, so those are much more important to actually represent in the game in a way that is involved in actual gameplay and direct player interaction.
