After patiently waiting for the mods to get updated, I spent this weekend playing the new DLC.
and I must say, i was giddy with excitement. so far i've had an earthquake, a tornado, a sinkhole....and several thunderstorm warnings (but never a storm)....nothing to really do much damage to my city yet, so i was able to get right back to expanding the city limits.

i do have a question though....and if it's been dealt with, then I apologize.
do the people automatically head to the nearest evac center once you've hit the button to Evac?
or do you need to set up the bus line? if you do need to set up the bus line....i have tried 3 times to do it...and realized that you don't point and click like you would a regular bus line. if anyone has a trick on how to do it, lemme know..... otherwise i suck at it and wind up having a lot of stop all clustered together right outside the evac center.

i prolly may poke or two at the scenarios...but like the ones in Sim City.....i never really played them.

keep up the great work guys! i love seeing the copters flying around. love the radio stations. maybe next we can see boats and ferries on the water! or maybe a personally own Yatch for parties on the water!

People will automatically head for shelters on foot or by car, and having radio coverage over your city will improve the chances of them responding to evacuation calls. Also, you do make evacuation bus routes similar to normal bus lines, but there are others having similar problems with bus line tools as well. Check the Support & Bug Reports forum for more info.

I've been impressed by the new dlc. Likewise I waited for mods to be updated and played a vanilla city to try out the new content and various features. Just seeing those choppers in the sky does it for me! The thunderstorms are truly spectacular. I'm not a fan of the radio stations- particularly Gold with the dodgy re-recordings, really low rent supermarket bargain bin stuff! Now if we could link our i-tunes library and have the disaster warnings interupt the broadcast that WOULD be awesome!
The game seems a lot more stable and robust than before. I am subscribed to 2000 + assets/mods ( I admit I have a problem, I'm an addict) and it is loading much faster than ever before. I was also impressed at the speed with which modders responded to resolve compatibility issues- truly amazing job! Athough a sizeable minority of the the entitled "me me me, more more more, now now now" millennial snowflakes showed a lack of common sense or reason with their usual unrealistic "I want it yesterday" expectations. Great work CO.
