The new MacOS, Catalina, drops support for 32-bit applications. V2 is a 32-bit application. This means I must choose between never upgrading my Mac vs. never playing Victoria again. Please help me, PDS, you're my only hope!

I contacted Virtual Programming in regards to a 64-bit update. Doesn't seem likely to happen. Below was their response:

Unfortunately there is no 64-bit version of this game and we are assessing as to whether it is possible to create one.

Mac ports of PC games require 64-bit versions of the windows game to bring to the Mac on 64-bit and this game never had one.

So currently you have to run on Mojave.​

Thanks for trying. This kinda bites. I might end up having to give up on V2. I've played it to death, anyway. There's really nothing left for me to do in that game.

I'll pay it. I've been playing PDS games since 2002. I expect new releases to be buggy and then polished and expanded over time. I couldn't care less. That's always how it goes. I'll also be pre-ordering whatever premium pack they offer.
