OK this is not something that directly affects the fun of the game, but I think it's quite important to say.

Those of you who may have experience in modding the game might have experienced difficulties browsing through all the files in the game folders because they are simply badly organized. Say you want to add an event you will have to check if the intended ID's been used because the ID's are really randomly assigned and don't go in order. After writing an event you want to add flavor to it by editing the event_text file but realize you can also do so by changing the new_text file or simply add what you want to say in the event file, which sometimes causes error.

If things like this could get fixed, or at least get organized a bit, that's gonna to be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, the localization files especially are a pain; it is odd to have to look in different files to find text for unit names, for instance. The probable reason Paradox adds text in such a segmented way is that no developer wants to touch a file that is bug free, lest new bugs be introduced.

On a related note, since Paradox develops several titles on an engine, it seems like a time savings in the long run to invest in a campaign editor for themselves. From the variable formatting in the game files, I would say they are editing everything (even database files) by hand.
