Although I've had the game since it came out I've never encountered this particular bug before because of the nature of the location involved. I managed to colonize Fiji (Viti Levu) but it will not allow me to place any naval units there. The port is completely blocked off. I built ships there as well but it won't let me move them out. Everything else about the province seems to be alright except the port. I never noticed it before because I honestly had never colonized Fiji before.

I'm using the North American version, the 1.10 patch and playing the GC. OS is Win2K Pro, processor is a PII 266MHz chip and my system has 80MB RAM. No previous difficulties with the game and I've played it quite a bit. The game runs very smoothly even with what is now considered to be an obsolete system.

1.10, that would be with EU 1 right?

This is (I think) a known bug for EU 1 but unfortunately, I don't think there will be any more patches for EU 1 :(

Yes, I was refering to EU 1. I mistakenly posted on the wrong board.

I have yet to see EU 2 in the stores here in the Buffalo area so I'll just live with what I have. Thanks for the response.

Instead of clicking on the anchor click on the island itself and that should do the trick. The same applies to Socotra in the Indian ocean.

Sonny:

I tried that. Didn't work. My only other reasonable alternative for a port in that region is to conquer Australia.

On to pillage!

you can order it on-line at www.gamestop.com

Since it's not related to EU2, I am closing this thread :)
