Fighters and bombers weapon systems

What happens to the fighters and bombers when you upgrade your weapons? Do they improve as well?

In honestly, how do fighter and bombers work mechanically anyway? Do we need to research in order to upgrade them? Can they be upgraded?

We have yet to see.Honestly they will be just short range suicide darts like we see in all the other 4x games and will add balancing issues.I really do not like them included.

You likely research better bomber/fighter weapon modules the same way you research other weapon modules.

When you upgrade laser weapons to deal 5% more damage that will probably not effect fighters since they are a different category. Carrier weapon modules probably have their own upgradess.
