now that is hinduism no longer exists in a legal form what is diplomacy going to be like?
There is always Confucianism that needs to be wiped out. With Imperialism Casus Belli, my neighbors aren't safe from my conquests.

Chapter 58

Two Jihads were declared as the sultan turned his attention back on Northeast Asia. The end result was Song annexed while Joseon forced to give up many territories. However, the sultan wasn't happy with the result. He was losing support from his people over Jihads. He had a feeling that the Jihads may cease to exist in the near future. He needed to make the most of it before his people outright oppose the idea. To make matters worse, a new enemy showed herself. Muscowy has now declared themselves Russia and looked to further expand eastwards.

A new heir was named. The heir may have a weak claim but he showed promise even when he was merely an infant. For the sultan, this wasn't the biggest news. During the war against Joseon, a new colony was set up in southern Africa and a new neighbor, Naples, decided to put a colony adjacent to it. As a result, the sultan was able to put through reforms to his government.

The year was 1649. The people of Hindustan were banding together to rid the idea of Jihads. The sultan, trying to make his final Jihads remembered, did a great conquest that saw him fighting all of Eastern Asia.

Technology still advanced smoothly while the sultan implemented a regimental system to help lower costs of his ever increasing army. As for colonization, the main highlight was in the expansion into Africa.

Chapter 59

To improve his navy further, the sultan made more naval technology investments.

The Jihads were going as planned. Despite facing many enemies, the Mongol Khanate, Guge and Dahan were dealt swiftly with new gains. A province under Joseon defected as the officials there made the right choice.

With Eastern Asia under control, the sultan declared three new wars. The new wars would see nearly all of the Hindustan region under the control of the sultan. As expected, there was little resistance and the wars were wrapped up quickly.

Once all the wars were wrapped up, the sultan used the peace to make an important reform. His army was modernized further to match those in Western Europe. The move would make the Hindustani army unstoppable in Asia. Meanwhile, the sultan also encouraged clearing of lands to improve the capabilities of provinces.

Technology breakthroughs were slowly made while colonization was still in full swing. The colonization efforts have returned to the Oceania region. The sultan hoped to speed up the process as he doesn't want a western nation to settle nearby.

Chapter 60

The Hindustan sultan didn't enjoy a very long reign. His heir, with a weak claim to the throne, had much to do in order to prove himself worthy of the throne. His first move as the sultan was to pass the judiciary act. An opportunity soon arose for the sultan to make a conquest. A claim on the neighboring Moghulistan nation resulted in a quick war with a province gained (Najd simply asked for white peace sometime later).

Despite having a weak claim, there was little doubt that the sultan is very capable. With his high administrative and diplomacy skills, he was faced with a difficult decision. He could either modernize production technology or modernize trade technology. With both technology being important, the sultan flipped a gold coin to decide. The coin decided that production technology would be modernized first. A few months later, he had a new heir who had a better claim than he did.

The sultan wasn't a patient man when it came to waiting for his nation to become stable again. Therefore, he declared war on Kongo. Kongo was already at war with Trinicria and took a colony from the European nation. The sultan gladly offered that colony protection by seizing it and, soon after, annexed Kongo. To kill more time, the sultan turned his attention back to Eastern Asia. Three wars were declared and, once the wars were over, only Dahan and Joseon still existed as independent nations in the region.

Like his predecessors, the sultan put heavy investments into technology.

In addition, colonization in the Pacific had been going according to plan. Oceania belonged to Hindustan alone.

Chapter 61 (Finale)

Before the sultan noticed, it was time to modernize trade technology. Hindustan was only a step away from fully westernizing.

To celebrate the giant step, the sultan decided that some business in Asia needed to be taken cared of. Dahan and Joseon had enjoyed independence long enough. It was time to remove them from maps and the sultan did just that. The two Asian nations were finally annexed. Dahan, after 8 Jihads, one reconquest and an imperialist war, finally got integrated into Hindustan. This was a great feat for the sultan. Not long after the annexations of both nations, the sultan took the step that would see Hindustan fully westernized.

During the great transition, many colonies were becoming towns. Thus, the sultan was busy organization the construction of forts all over the world. The dissolution act was also passed to keep the sultan slightly more occupied.

The conquests didn't end with the annexation of Joseon and Dahan though. Makassar and Bone, with their foolish decision to continuously sending spies, were punished. Their forts proved very durable and it took a very long time before the two nations were annexed.

During the long sieges, the sultan merely poured more time in making breakthroughs.

Colonization began to take place in the Pacific. The sultan was rather happy about Hawaii. He believed that the province may be a great naval base one day considering its location.

It was said that the sultan slept one day and didn't wake up. He left a note to his heir. No one, other than the heir, knew what the note said. However, there was belief that his death was needed for Hindustan to become even greater. Indeed, his death only made Hindustan stronger with the inheritance of Sind, Durrani and Sri Vijaya.

The new sultan began an war immediately after he was crowned. The Maldive was the target and they were soon annexed.

This was the last piece the new sultan needed to form a great nation called India. All provinces in Hindustan region got Growing Nations that increased the production and population growth.

The inheritance of Sind also saw India bordering Ethiopia. The Ethiopian ruler decided to insult the Indian sultan. Angered by this action, the new sultan immediately declared a war that saw him splitting Ethiopia in half.

Being fully westernized, technology breakthroughs were taking place at a much faster pace.

The unthinkable happened when the Ottoman ruler suddenly died and a personal union was formed.

Map of India

I would like to thank everyone that spent time reading and/or commenting this AAR. I hope those that did follow enjoyed parts of it. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in continuing this AAR. I decided to find a good place to end it and the personal union seemed perfect. Thanks once again and I hope you will follow my other three AARs. :)
