Very cool.
Italy starts the 1936 scenario with a variant in place.
This *almost* forces the Italy player to make a decision:
"Do I keep the CR 42 and build up its Reliability, Range, Weapons, and Engine? Or do I say, 'thanks Celestino Rosatelli and the Fiat group, but we are going to say good-bye and research Fighter 1s' "
The decision is not there (yet).
A no brainer, as far as I can tell (others might have some other ideas).
But it is a nice "colour" aspect of the game.
Here's my hope:
-- The game designers will remove the "no brainers" decisions and introduce quandaries where players really have to make a choice.
"Addio, my little CR. 42!"
