So I bought the vanilla game without any dlc or mods, watched some videos, read some info and started my first city.
Had some problems which i have overcomed and reached this:
Jw0gNmX.png
http://imgur.com/Jw0gNmX
(i know it looks horrible)
Now i have a few problems which i have no idea what is causing them:first one is DEAD PEOPLE:
I have few cemeteries around the city, but still there are dead people who are not being "cleaned" as shown in this picture :http://imgur.com/kedLJzt
As you can see there is a cemetery near them, but still there is the sign of dead people, what is causing the problem?

Second problem is TRAFFIC:
So i didnt knew that industry causes alot of traffic,so ive upgraded roads, changed things, built busses, metro, but still nothing helps, and at the enter of my city there is insane traffic as shown at that picture : http://imgur.com/8j5WPQs
What can i do on that situation?.

So along with these problems i have some GENERAL QUESTION:
I know that there are mods and dlc's for the game, what are a "must have" mods/dlc's for the game?

*How do i put a pic here? ;)

So thanks for reading, and sorry if these questions were asked alot of times before ;)

first issue: dead people. it's been asked a lot so i'll briefly summarise and you can search to fill the gaps. basically the game works like this. you build a zone, people move in. everyone who moves in is the same age so as they get older they all die at the same time as well. if you build a lot of large zones at the same time lots of people will die at the same time. this is referred to as a deathwave. to stop it expand slower. if you're too impatient to do that then build an insane amount of cemeteries/crematoria. there are some cemeteries on the workshop which i use that hold 8000 people and with more hearses so the deathwaves can be more easily contained.

also, it doesn't matter where the death care are located, the fact that a cemetery is next to a building with a dead person in it doesn't mean that the dead person will be collected by a hearse from the cemetery next door, it is just as likely to be collected by a cemetery at the other end of the map. (this is very annoying)

to fix you traffic issue, you simply need to connect more roads to either the motorway running in between your two districts or directly to the two districts that you have. all the traffic is trying to get from one side to other and with the one connecting road that you have it's getting very full. it's best to have industry close to commercial to avoid as much unnecessary traffic as possible. you can also make use of the industrial trains to transport goods from industry to commercial. just remember that the most optimum setup for this game is not to mirror how big cities operate in real world.

in this game traffic uses the shortest route, it will not use the quickest route. so if you have an empty motorway that is slightly longer to get somewhere than a busy six lane road, everyone will ignore the motorway because the other busy route is shorter.

Sound advice from meta critical. DON'T pause game and zone large residential areas! That WILL result in a spike in mortality rates. The number of crematoria required in game is insanely unrealistic- I use an excellent asset from the workshop- a crematorium cunningly disguised as a 7/11 convenience store- GENIUS! Place one in every neighbourhood and nothing looks out of place. As far as mods are concerned it's a very personal decision and depends on your gaming style- are you focused on city simulation or creating aesthetically pleasing cities? Check the Steam workshop and search top rated and most subscribed tabs. Read the reviews. It's all down to trial and error and personal preference. Enjoy!

According to the Cities: Skylines Wiki, this is incorrect. Cars calculate their path by the fastest legal route, which coincidentally is often the shortest as well. I've also seen a video tutorial that confirms this logic, and AFAIK it has not been changed since the first release.

I was just gonna point that out as well. The wiki is correct it doesn't always use the shortest route, it uses the fastest speed-limit wise (without taking into consideration how busy\traffic those roads are).
