Few problems

Sorry if it the wrong place to post this.

I have got a few issues. First, firing up EK has gotten really slow. It used to take seconds, now it is more like 10 to 20 minutes. It often gets stuck on Matching Heroes with Events, if it really means anything. Once it is up and running, and I exit the game, it fires up quick afterwards. Like it has loaded something in a cache maybe.

I used to have this sort of problem with EU3, but I got it fixed by clearing cache. Now, CK2 does not have any such, so what to do?

I have fast enough PC, which could run pretty much everything at max settings, so that should be problem here.

Now, another one. Over Akavir, all or most of the provinces have something which lookes like a coin stuck in them, when zoomed it to certain extent. Not all the way in nor all the way out. Missing textures?

I use pretty much the latest SVN.

Those "coins" as you described them, are the Coat of Arms for Tsaesci and Akaviri humans. It is strange tho that they appear this way. My best guess to fix that is to navigate to documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2 and into the folder with the mod(not the /mod folder though, just plain Elder Kings folder, where save games are stored) and delete /gfx folder there(you found correct folder if you have dummy.dds file in there)
