Hello,

I noticed in my game that loading a save somewhat reset the current feudal election for the king's successor. The current votes of the electors seem to not be saved but rather randomly recalculated after each load. It can also apply to the player: somtimes my own vote is attributed to some guy I didn't vote for.

It also means that if I'm ploting against the current winner, save and quit the game and reload it later, the winner could be a totally different guy, ruining my plots and wasting my money.

Did you notice that too?

Yup, after loading a save I have two messages within a couple of days...every time...

The first is a Duke voting the same way as me, then a second message from the same Duke voting for himself...thus the status quo is returned. It gets annoying acknowledging these same messages after every load.

Post made on 4th august:
We've made some changes to nominations and it should be better at saving your nominee correctly. It should be applied in a future patch.

I've noticed a lot that resets when you load game:
Your nominated heir flips back to someone else;
Commanders leading your armies suddenly don't;
You gain an extra malcontent or two...

All this time, I thought it was just Paradox being sneaky with combating (my) save scumming.

This is true of many features across Paradox games unfortunately and is usually down to one of two things, the AI ties itself into a knot or a low frequency on the number of times the AI calculates certain things (understandably for performance)
