One of the things that always kinda irked me in HOI3/ HOI2 was that the USA could just instantly drop the tens or hundreds of air units on Great Britain at the declaration of War.
While I know its difficult, could we possibly thing about incorporating aircraft into transports, or some way instead of allowing them to simply rebase about 3000 miles outside of their fuel range?

1. Either setup the events to build the northern airbases for ferrying through Greenland. And have the planes travel this route, requiring at least an overnight stop in each airfield.
Or
2. Allow the rebasing to happen as it currently does in HOI2 and HOI3, but disable the planes completely for X days that it would have normally taken to ferry them that far. The planes wouldn't be involved in air battles, rebuild strength, or org for those X extra days, and have them take Strength damage for doing it, as not all planes always made it on those long journeys. This means you couldn't rebase airplanes from US into combat zones, and instantly start using them in a few days like happens all the time. It also means that you could end up losing all those planes if the enemy captures that airfield.
This would also stop Germany from rebasing aircraft to Japan, or to Africa etc.
