No it was actually becouse the enemy had not build troops that 700+600 IC would require. The first session of russian war was such mess becouse the militia and the few 36' Infantry lost all battles they engaged, and it took long for african units to get to the positions. Also most of the russian troops were not in any actual position they should have been for such sudden switch.
As for the peace, In retrospective, We could have won better peace

And cruel irony is that we orginally intended to demand France from Germany as well... But I honestly forgot to add it to the list of terms that fivoin asked from me. And since the reduced terms were acceptable to him, I knew I couldn't have add such huge contignent to it anymore.
Had the session been played in War, I think we would have managed to bring the actual frontline there where the current peace-borderline is.
