Hey guys, I have 2 questions:

For you to know the situation on beggining:

I am playing Sweden, it is around 1560s, I have Lithuania as vasal, relations around 170 with gifts+max improve relations. They are quite small, last 6 provinces+royal marriage.
Second country connected is Hamburk, who have the provinces of Holstein+Sveisen(?), around 5 provinces also. Relations around 177 with gifts+max improve relations+ally+royal marriage.

I want to diploanex them both, but no idea how to get last 10-15 points.

1) How to feed the country to improve my relations with them? I was reading about "feeding country with provinces to improve relations". How the hell to do that? I found only in the economic one to sell province and it doesnt help. Is it something like release vasal or something?

2) Any other way to improve relations except of improve relations, alliance, marriage and gifts? I miss last 10 points to diploanex and cant get them - improve relations on max, gifts on max, literally no idea how to improve it anymore.. Any ideas?

Only way is to wait few years for Lithuania to go lower with my AE, but it will take 6 years or so to lower it to acceptance and also there are some points for protecting ally, so it will get lowered either, so I am kinda stucked. But I dont want to wait for this, as I want to vasalize also Norway (having just few isles and capital) and diplo vasalize + diploanex Hamburk.

Is there any way to solve this? For example some advisor and how much relationships can he bring me?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. last question:

I have defensive, offensive,Espionage,Naval ideas... What to take 5th? After France I am strongest in Europe and I can beat even them I guess. My current King is 6-6-0 and I think for lower AE (expanding a lot) is the Diplomatic idea the correct one, as I have also good king for that. Or is it worth it to take the Religious, as I converted all provinces and as I have income 60, I can easily pay for being "defender of true faith"? Are the bonuses worth it?

Offer them military access and Proclaim Guarantee them. That will net you 20 points. Rivaling their rivals will also add 20 points (tho it takes 20 months to tick up).

If you plan on conquering a lot religious is currently one if not the single best idea group because it helps decay aggressive expansion 50% faster. Depending on how the new world is looking right now you could go Exploration/Expansion if you want to colonize. Many people feel expansion to be superior to diplomatic with diplomatic's only good point against it being the extra diplomat. Since you have espionage, you don't need him tho. Administrative is also a very solid group.

Easy ways to improve relations by a small amount:

Offer military access
Proclaim guarantee
Liberate one of their provinces from occupation
Defeat rebels in their provinces
Send subsidies
Pick one of their rivals as your rival
Accept their call to arms and fight to the end (no separate peace)
Return cores to them in peace deals (+40 per province!)
Declare war on one of their rivals
Annex one of their rivals' provinces

"Feeding provinces to improve relations " means giving them back their cores in peace deals, if they have any.

Killing rebels in their provinces will give you an additional +10 modifier
Conquering a province from their rivals will give you +15

There may be other modifiers possible for vassals, but not much I'm affraid.

This only applies when you return provinces to them in peace negotiations with enemy that holds provinces with your vassal's cores. Not from selling.

No. You'll have to wait for negative modifiers to be reduced.

Vassals will buy provinces they have claims on or that they previously owned. They'll also buy your own cores, but why you would want to do that eludes me.

For new world I am stuck, as the most provinces are already owned in coastals - all Carribean , North America, South America are already conquered. I was stucked when I was attacking the Iceland from Norway and they didnt want to give me.

I am OK to sell them one province, if I can diploanex it later. I didnt want to fight for it.

Thanks for all ideas, hope I will manage it afternoon ^^

And one more thing - for getting the AE lower and generally more usefull is the best religious? Or going for diplomatic? Still not sure what is the best. I want to conquer, vasalize and diploanex as much as possible as fast... :)

Take both. If the areas you are conquering are the same religion, maybe diplomatic is better first because of +2 diplo relations, +1 diplomat. Hard to say, depends on your exact position.
Edit - the +5 Diplo Reputation is also key, makes diplo-annexing vassals much faster. You can quickly turn over new vassals, annex and repeat.

I change my opinion now. From what you want to do, diplo is much more important for the 3 listed ideas above.
