Feedback on the new forum look

It looks absolutely ghastly. As another poster said "It looks like the kind of forum a 12 year old would use for his Star Wars club"

Please go back, there was no reason to do this.

sometimes I use something other than my PC to access this, and the new forum is a bit wonky on my iphone. Not horrid, but could use some size tweaks.

A Group can have multiple different threads (discussions) apparently. Effectively they all have their own different forums.

I wonder why the signature is aligned such that it and its dividing line are always lower than the avatar info in the left-hand panel. It wastes an awful lot of space in forum threads when people make short posts but have some content in their signature.

Obviously the more games registered and icons assembled the more wasted space, which means that the new forum layout encourages not registering games as doing so excessively leads to many wasted lines of space.

The dividing line and start of the signature should be one or two lines below the end of a post, not aligned to the left-hand avatar information.

I don't like the big bubbles/chat to say if there is something new or not, nor the black bands when there is space to catch up between posts otherwhise i'm fine with color.
But it's nice to see you evolve so I guess feedback will come with usage.

I use widescreen and the forum does not stretch properly, creating a column in the centre with two large, unused bars on the sides.

I don't really like the look of this new forum and it seems to be less transparent now.

I liked how with the old style there were different colors for different games, red for Victoria, grey for HoI, blue for EU3.

But other than that the new style is great, and after a few days everyone will forget that there even was a change.

Cheers. Although that does not seem the best place for it... right beside Log Out. User CP was, by some distance, the function I used the most on the old forum. It should have a prominant positon on the page

It's waaay too narrow on a widescreen monitor. It also doesn't stretch the forum box when a wide image is present; instead it just lets it overlap, which I don't find very attractive. Really, it looks like an exceedingly narrow version of all the other forums I frequent. Maybe have it scale based on screen size and resolution? I am curious what you'd use for icons on the main page though.

Edit: This site looks like it's using the same client, but it displays properly on my monitor. Maybe steal their code: www[dot]dustloop[dot]com/forums/
