Feedback on the new forum look

For everyone looking to get rid of the Facebook stuff, and found that the "just use Adblock" posts before weren't very helpful, this works perfectly, and actually blocks the Facebook stuff, not only the picture of the Like button:

Indeed, it doesn't look so dark anymore.

use --vb4 blue on the color settings, nothing is dark.

Every time the layout/skin of a forum I regularly visit changes, I think the new one is just bad. I guess this is because I am not used to it and seems so alien.
Now too...
But every time I get used to it, so no big deal.


I just don't understand one thing: what's with the facebook advertisements? Do they pay paradox for that or what? I hope there will be no more unwanted ads like that.

I usually lurk on these forums, but reading posts now isn't as nice as it was.
All of the new buttons look tacky as do the icons for threads, I don't know if this is the main problem though.

I hope it's possible to get the old colour scheme back at some point. White is too white and the darker blue is too dark. Especially on the forum front page.

It's a feature on new vBulletin versions. I've seen those buttons appear on other boards as well.

Also, it would be good to have tags, to hide big pictures and surprises

I think the UserNames on each post should be enlarged, since as allays you can't actually differentiate people on this board by their avatars.

I have nothing against facebook (as I personally use it and have kept in touch with my friends through it; dont flame me ) but the buttons are unnecessary and are quite annoying.

Too dark fer me. Previously, the colors throughout were balanced. Although this vb4 blue does seem bland.

The same.

There was ONE thing to do to improve the paradox forums experience, implement a search engine instead of forcing people to use googgle.

Instead of that we get new ugly and same everywhere colors, smallers and less buttons, two lines for post titles when only one is needed, forcing to scroll more to find recent threads, and, the worse thing imagineable for a serious site, a connexion to the facething world company and other "web 2.0" crap.

I wonder when companies will realize that if we are on their old style forums having argumented discussions on their products like civilized people and not actually typing "lolwutz" and clicking "I like" on some web 2.0 crap commercial intrusive site hidden under a social feature it's not because we ask for web 2.0 false convivality and intrusive adds invasion there too.
