So really, this is just to tell you all the sadness of playing Navarra, getting hammered by Aragon for the first 25 years. Finally getting QftNW, kicking the shite out of the native Americans, taking 34 overseas provinces, feeling like god and then remembering that you need big ships to get any tariffs...
All I really did was lower my tech speed, raise the stab price, get rr everywhere and mint myself into oblivion in my pursuit to get forts and switch religion in my useless provinces.
Hopefully I'll get enough money by 1480, when I get cores, to be able to move my capital. Worst star ever

If you left any adjacent native american provinces alive, you may get a border friction event that gives you an instant core. Conquest missions are also golden for these thing. This'd allow you to move your capital a few decades earlier than expected.

You don't need big ships for tarriffs. Light ships will do.

Won't get any light ships in the foreseeable future... Its now the year 1469.5 and I am doing okay plundering the Inca instead of minting. Much better Trying to keep the Spanish and Portuguese out of south america. Making money and doing okay

Nah, the worst start ever is playing an Italian OPM, day 1 DoWing another because your leader was 4 shock, finding out the hard way theirs was 6 shock, and being dead inside 11 months...

Navarre is really fun. There are certain tricks and advanced EU3 gameplay needed to succeed. If you do not know what you are doing, then Navarre is an exercise in frustration. Play another country.
