Some things I'd like to see, in no real order:

1). In the ship design screen, I'd like to see a button I can press after upgrading a design, to cause all ships of that type to 'go no nearest port to upgrade' to that new design I just created. Or to queue it up on all such ships/stations after they finish up their current list of orders.

1b). And if I have multiple designs for the same ship, I'd like to be able to flag one of them as THE one that will be used whenever I hit upgrade on such a ship out on the map.

---

2. Forgive me if its already there and I just didn't see it, but a screen with a list of all defense stations would be nice. W/the ability to upgrade them from w/in that screen rather than by having to search around the map for them.

---

3. This is for all games w/this engine: the ability to set a second monitor as the screen all your info panels come up on.

I don't just mean dual monitor support, not to merely allow us to have our single screen cover multiple monitors. From what I gather, people can already jury rig that. But rather, 2 independent screens, one on each monitor.

Example - Press F5 for an info panel, and that info panel comes up on your 2nd monitor instead of over the top of the main map.

This would allow us to look upon the beautiful clausewitz (sp?) engine maps unobstructed while simultaneously looking through and interacting with (or monitoring) whatever panel we want.

---

4. (nevermind / resolved)

---

5. I'd like it if when zooming out w/the mouse-wheel from the planetary view, that when we reach maximum zoom, that if we keep scrolling out, it'd automatically switch to the view to the galaxy view. And that if we scroll in really far on a system, that once we reach max zoom, that it'd auto-transition to the planetary view. See Distant Worlds: Universe for an example. This way one could transition between map views w/neither a mouse click nor a keyboard shortcut, just the zoom wheel.

---

That's all I can remember of my ideas at the moment. Time for more Jack Daniels.

I'd also like it a lot if hovering over a leader would give information about
- gender of that leader (it's really not visible for most species)
- what faction they are in
- wether or not they are an election candidate right now

By the way: About your 4th thing, that's not a bug, you need to go to species view and give them colonisation rights.
