Right now i find sending out ninja attacks realy annoying.
As they work on a court/province level I have to track the the provinces owned by the character I want to use my ninjas on, then go back to the ninja tab, select a mission and find the provinces again.
In the case of a large clan this is pretty annoying. You have no immediate way of knowing what 5 provinces the clan leader owns for example, so you'd have to go to his character page, hover over his kori symbol, remember one of the names, then do a search for that... very annoying and unnecesary imo.

As for some ninja attacks like "weaken province defence" this is understandable, but for others its just painfull.

It would be nice to have an option to send ninja attacks to character court inside the right click popup menu that shows when you right click a face of a char. Then it could take you to a list of possible ninja actions.
Or some other way that simplifies things.

Something similar could be said about the Masters of Ceremonies, Arms, and Guard. The current implementation is tedious. It'd be helpful if the option existed to send a ninja or diplomat to a given character via the diplomacy interface.

I agree with all of these points, it is time consuming in finding anyone. But one thing im surprised about these threads no one seems to complain or say anything about how useless the Diplomacy button is. I hardly use it at all as all i end up doing is just arrive at the previous person or maybe a clan leader ive just met before. I end up doing all my diplomacy by clicking on one of the provinces belonging to another clan. Work my way up the different Daimyos until i find the clan leader to negotiate with. Its all rather time consuming and stops me really getting involved with the different characters. Dont know if anyone else feels the same about this?

You know you can click the clan mon to go directly to the clan's leader diplomacy page right?

But I agree to the ninja point, it is a process of identifying your target, then checking where they are (which can be someplace weird if they are hostages), then going to the ninja page, then clicking the province and then finally navigating through the province's denizens to find your target.

The least tedious way I've found is to click a province, go to diplomacy for that land owner, click his liege until clan leader (then maybe navigate down if he's not the target,) right click the portrait, click "go to location," and then open the ninja menu and click that province.

You have to do half of that to find basically any character anyway, but the location button cuts down on the manual searching at least.

I would agree with most of what was said in this thread.

Also, one omission that surprised me is: in the assassination selection screen (or any character list screen), you can see all the character's jobs etc. but there is nothing that identifies a clan leader himself or character titles. It should say: "Satake - Clan leader" right next to character name for example. Can that be added?

If Im not mistaken on this...if you look the Clan Leader has a different frame around his picture that helps to pick them out faster.
