I keep seeing photos and short clips of CS on consoles (in CS's official Reddit page) where they can drive and even walk around the city at will that looks like GTA or a third-person videogame, with some collision detection as well (I have seen one clip of a car jumping off a cliff, only to physically hit into the houses, not clipping through).

I wonder when this feature will be added to the PC version? Experts such as AquilaSol will and will always say that the console versions are a "Lite" version of Cities: Skylines, yet it has one feature that somehow, still doesn't exist on the PC version for unknown reasons. If it's possible to be added on Consoles, it is pretty much easy to do on the PC version by the devs, or even modders can add it into the game if they wanted to.

There's several mods on the workshop, which will allow this, if you want the same ability on PC. As for adding it to the game I remember CO commenting on it a while back. They aren't much for it as you get a lot closer to things than intended, meaning textures are too low resolution and there's holes in buildings, which can only be seen when looking from the ground and up on them.

The FPS mod on PC is just a screen, while the Console version has a character model like in GTA. In PC, you can't drive cars, you can only follow them. In Console, you can actually drive them like GTA. There is no mod on PC that allows you to drive cars on your own control atm.

Any news on this? I would really like to see this feature for the pc version as well.
A lot of the people say that there are mods but as you said Meesmoth they do not have a 3D model. It`s just a screen.

I would really like to get an official statement if this is planned for pc as well. I would totally pay for this as a DLC.
I really wonder why it`s a feature for console but you nearly can`t find any information about if it is going to be in the pc version as well.

PLEASE ENLIGHTEN US! :D
