Considering the amount of strategic advice, plea's about games, and such forth that is posted on the MP page, I feel (after a particular current game - yep still playing it) that it could be amusing to hear of everyones favourite MP moment. Ie, the time, in an MP game, that you feel you either played your best, or saw the most amusing sequence of play not related to yourself or your country.

For my part, I have 2 answers: In terms of most enjoyable sequence unrelated to myself, I'd have to mention an early game where USA managed to get itself communist, and the other players aside from US player, (only 2, me as Germany, another as USSR) watched in horror, and then amusement as Communist USA first DOW'd mexico, and was then annexed by AI controlled Canada... (Love that auto-DOW by western allies)

My own play that made me want to post, was as UK, when, whilst slightly unprepared, I was invaded by German player post fall of france, who swiftly took portsmouth, and then all of UK south of Manchester. At this stage, with german player able to provide his armies with supply courtesy of (I assume) huge numbers of escorts, I prepared my counter-strike. So, with half of UK occupied, and axis minors ravaging my colonial possesions, I was able to build up a reserve force, and invade behind german forces in southern Uk ports, and pin the enemy into a concentrated mass where numerical penalties and lack of retreat options won the day. End result - all german crack units in Uk were butchered despite massive tech advantage.

Turned the game around, and left me with 70 or so divisions in UK wondering what to do...? :D

The bloody war in India

In the best MP game i ever had was as Japan with a very dedicated team of players.

After a successful whomp of China, the imperial japanese army proceeded to take out allied colonies, finally stalemated in the jungles of Burma and india in the bloodiest HOi game i ever played.

In all, I lost about 55 Japanese divisions against 300++ Allied divisions made out of French, British, American, Soviets, Belgium, Netherlands, canadians, Commie Chinese and Australians. What was interesting was that as japan, i was almost out of Manpower, 30+ manpower at 1943. Because of the terrain, armor, motorized and mech units were useless. Why was it fun? Pure infantry engagements in the jungle.

Moreover, because SU had sent so many Exp forces (2/3 i believe, that Germany over-ran it in less than 3 months.)

Best moment for me! ::cool:

My favorite game hmm.... lets see.... when my friend edited the game to make france and germany allies and UK and SU allies and America was the actual Allies.
There were 4 players and I was GB while my nieghbor was France. Since of my naval supirioty I was able to suck the French colonies dry. Germany marched on Leningrad and things looked grim until Republic spain joined the commies and caused the French to bring men to the homeland after the extended stay under germany. After the german mountain divisions ariived the commie forces were pushed back and The Soviets lost 20 divs to sorroundment and my forces were retreated to Gilbraltar where the biggest fight and the turning point of the war. The climax was 105vs96 in my favor as I gave it my all and won. With the help of 3 division tank army I was able to circle 50 french forces and end the war in france and watch my friend as the SOviets take back lost land and have huge battles against human controlled germany and win the war :)
