Favourite gear

What's your favourite gear, for different situations? Siege (both attacking and defending) and open battles?

I'm playing around with the steel shield at the moment, but I dont know if it's too small..

Will edit my own gear in later!

I like the reinforced huscarl's shield for its size and longevity, although its not as strong as the steel shield. I like the masterwork elite scimitar for its reach, speed and power, although I will use the heavy bardiche in siege defense ao I can chop from behind a row of allies.

A good bow and arrows, a shield and a short, fast sword for going melee.
