Just wanted to see what other players like to roll with.

So far I love archers in general, and my gobble archers in particular.
Range
Funny voice acting.
Relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain.
Range.
Did I mention range?

Other favorite unit are rats..super spammable and they are just made of awesome cute.

My favorite buildings are based on flavor. I laughed the first time I built the hall of cheese and the pumpkin shrine. Though the regen perk (shrine) is amazing too.

What are your favorite units/buildings?

I am really a fan of Trolls. With some good buffs, I use them to terrorize the front as shook troops. They are sturdy enough to get into the thick of things, and with Elemental Regeneration (until they get their own), they are great for holding the line.

My most memorable moment with them is when I took 4 fairly low level Trolls into a Plane inhabited solely by Dragons (Red and Gold) and Elementals (Earth and Fire). They not only cleared the place out, but I did not lose a single one!

Well I'm a fan of werewolves outside the game too, so I have to root for them in-game also. It also does help that they're a highly awesome unit in general too. They aren't quite as unkillable as old trolls, but they have enough survivability and they compensate with more damage and movement. Additionally they're easy to get in your capitol unlike old trolls, that require more buildings. To top it all of, if you want to get real cheesy, you can upgrade them to wolves of helia.

I like the building chains of the humans the best. Not one building, but the chains are better structured than other races in my opinion. The lines give you exactly want you would want and nothing else, and there are clear upgrade paths for the units, from basic units to veterans with few perks to temple units.

minotours, werewolves, ancient liches. once i can get these units, i pretty much don't bother with making anything else. using nature regeneration (+15 hp/ turn) and vampire weapon enchantments, they're all pretty much invincible. and all of their area of effect special abilities are great for clearing out units. after a few levels and all the buyable perks, they can take down pretty much anything in one hit. when a dragon is close to a melee unit, minotour cleave can OHKO a red dragon/ shadow of vaendral, and possibly also a gold dragon (can't remember if i've ever done it before though). a couple of each can clear out a portal by themselves easily.

vampires are good too, but no area of effect is a downer for me.

Paladins of Life, Wolves of Helia, and Adepts of Lunord.

I love the Paladins of Life simply because of how difficult they are to kill and their ability to completely heal themselves and absolutely raze an undead colony. They're the perfect counter to undead units.

Wolves of Helia can become extremely powerful with the correct enchantments and levels given, but even then they're very hard to kill as well and can ravage multiple units at once while having little risk themselves.

Adepts of Lunord are very powerful as well because of their innate ability to assassinate an important unit behind the enemy lines then be able to get out before the enemy has any chance to counter-attack.

My favorite non-temple units are Flying Gallius', Goblin Sharpshooters, Veterans, Shamans, and Vampires.

I'm a Lizard King, i can do anything ! Especially breeding Turtles that are my favorite unit, moreover on islands maps i like to play. Let 2 of them combine their attacks and you wipe out the map with no trouble. Including Kraken and other sea monsters are common Gallion eaters :p

"Best Archers in the World!"

I've heard that so many times I'm starting to believe them. :)

Funny thing is, they probably are...
