Hmmm.. what I did was I attacked Aden as soon as they had been in a war, since they have a HUGE army at the start of the game. I then started colonizing Somalia, built up my colonies to cities, and then turned on Ethiopia. I´d suggest colonizing India as soon as possible, as the provs are rather rich there. I didn´t get very far myself, since the save file got f´d up.:( Sorry I couldn´t be of more assistance.:(

also very underdoggy is the Golden Horde

It is always fascinating to see the revolts pop up, the Ukraine, Crimea, Kazan and Astrakhan set themself free and then the final stroke by the Russians.

Hey, that only adds to their underdog value! But if you want to cheat, do what I did and "convert to sikhism" (go into save game file and crank up religious tolerance, my excuse is the -30 stabs i got from damn EEP events, and the inability to tolerate certain religions). Or put yourself in Muslim or China tech group. Trust me Oleg, you have not played EU2 until you have conquered a mighty empire as an Oriental Underdog and then sat there or looked in the mirror or stared at the roof or whatever fantasizing about the goings-on of your imperial court.

True. But I don´t understand why they are in exotic techgroup, because if they reemerge as a revolter, they have china techgroup. (or was it muslim?)

Both as exotic probably, but i think the idea is that the Chinese would have insitituted less nomadic laws and institutions in Sinkiang, such that they would remain there to help the Uighurs even after liberation. Although these days China is using Sinkiang as a big dumpster. :(

Speaking of America. Has anyone actualy seen them revolt in a GC?? I've never seen this. Of coruse, usualy I control a bit of that area, but England usualy has a pretty good foothold and doesn't let any revolts spread too far.

Any takers?

Yes. In a game as Tibet, I'm currently fighting against the alliance of the Ottomans, Algiers, Morocco, and the United States.

Actually, I see them quite frequently in conquest style games where I come late to the new world, since the AI doesn't have the resources to keep rebellions down in the new world, while fighting me in the old.
