Hmm, it will be my next game... Any beginning tips, since i am new to this part of the world?
Yeah, don't buy Enron shares.

Hmmm.. what I did was I attacked Aden as soon as they had been in a war, since they have a HUGE army at the start of the game. I then started colonizing Somalia, built up my colonies to cities, and then turned on Ethiopia. I´d suggest colonizing India as soon as possible, as the provs are rather rich there. I didn´t get very far myself, since the save file got f´d up.Originally posted by Lucidor

I would´ve played them long ago, were it not for the fact that they are in exotic techgroup.Originally posted by seraphim
The Great and Glorious Khanate of Chagatai! Goooo, Uighurs! /me ululates
True. But I don´t understand why they are in exotic techgroup, because if they reemerge as a revolter, they have china techgroup. (or was it muslim?)Originally posted by seraphim
Hey, that only adds to their underdog value! But if you want to cheat, do what I did and "convert to sikhism" (go into save game file and crank up religious tolerance, my excuse is the -30 stabs i got from damn EEP events, and the inability to tolerate certain religions). Or put yourself in Muslim or China tech group. Trust me Oleg, you have not played EU2 until you have conquered a mighty empire as an Oriental Underdog and then sat there or looked in the mirror or stared at the roof or whatever fantasizing about the goings-on of your imperial court.
So, which would you consider more accurate? Both as exotic, or both as the other one?Originally posted by seraphim
Yeah, that is pretty dumb. But it's nothing some good editing can't fix.
Yeah, Novgorod can be good fun. Much more fun than Muscowy at least.Originally posted by Bramarius
My favourite underdogs:
Europe: Novgorod & Ryazan
Africa: Xhosa 9always get annexed or at least vassalized bij Zimbabwe)
Asia: Candar & Armenia MinorD ) and of course: TIMURID EMPIRE !!! They get no fortresses and a hell of a lot revolts etc.
America: they all suck....
Yes. In a game as Tibet, I'm currently fighting against the alliance of the Ottomans, Algiers, Morocco, and the United States.Originally posted by Guan Yu
Speaking of America. Has anyone actualy seen them revolt in a GC?? I've never seen this. Of coruse, usualy I control a bit of that area, but England usualy has a pretty good foothold and doesn't let any revolts spread too far.
Any takers?
