Milan/Italy- Forming Italy is fun!

England, because as a 200k army shakes its fists at your 10k army across the channel, you realise how historically accurate this is.
England, because I like eating France and creating a massive empire.
And also Byzantium for the same reason, except eating the Ottomans.

I like playing England because of the immense satisfaction you get when a massive Russia or France with 100k army sits in Normandie and you just smile and wave from across the channel with 2k cavalry. I love the multiplayer games where a mainland European will have a tantrum because they can't land on English soil.
Muscowy is fun; the beginning is never easy, but you have the tools (And the missions. The missions! <3) to dominate your neighbours and then take the fight to Poland/Lithuania or the hordes.
Morocco is a great challenge; you're going to have to fight the Iberian's eventually, but the position allows to to mess in Africa, Arabia, America or Europe.

I try to play many times diffrent nations, but always not feel good with it. I prefer of changing history of my own country - Poland. I also try many times changing history of my region - Silesia, but this gameplay is to annoying with all the time save&loading.

It makes for a fun naval game with lots of options. Your early game can be quite interesting/challenging too, being the only hindu state in Malaya.
You're also one of the last places in the world to contact Europe, and they don't intervene in the area for a long time. This lets you have a nice "low tech" game, or westernize whenever you see fit to do so (unlike native Americans, or Africans who must westernize or die).
Also, the colour is kind of appealing to me.

I have strong irrational sympathies for AI-formed minor union countries. If I see Ireland, Scandinavia or the Netherlands appear, I always do my best to protect them. Same for the colonial revolters, I give war subsidies to UPCA and Haiti, and ally them to make the revolution successful.
1st real EUIII game I had was with Teutonic Order, it became my favorie since and Poland-Lithuania my hated..haha
I have a weak spot for Kazan, can PU almost all of inner Eurasia and you have quite the safe spot after you have crippled the Russian minors.
I will give a negative vote against Byzantium - forum nuts are too concerned with it and my one game was not particularly exciting. Maybe 1410 start is too easy. Anyway.
Secondly any of the Italian states with the possible exception of Milan since it gets smacked on the regular by France/Habsburgs.
But my favorite has to be the German states except for Austria. Wresting Emperorship out of Habsburg hands, forming Germany and destroying the HRE have been some of my favorite games in the past. Especially since the countries are so small - take on Poland and TO as Brandenburg so you actually have a chance against countries like France, England, Austria, Ottomans, etc. When you form Germany the game quickly gets a lot less interesting, but getting your cores back and asserting your dominance as world hegemon with some of the most profitable lands on Earth can be pretty entertaining.
I've played a few games as France and I really want to have fun with them, but there's hardly ever a threat to your dominance. Perhaps I should play Revolutionary start or move on to Victoria or Darkest Hour to get a worthwhile game as France. Tooo easy.

Ally a few people before unpausing as Milan (even Austria if you like) and they're quite easy.
Georgia, i played a games from the begining to the end, and it was my best game so far, now with the horde mecanics is almost imposible to play georgia.
when i played i love the idea of being small next to gigants, defeating timur and Gh isnt easy, also aftert that you have to deal with the ottomans and mamluks.

Honestly? Either Teutonic Order or Qara Koyunlu. The Teutons because they have to face nearly all of their neighbours at one point or another and it has endless expansion potential. Same goes for Qara Koyunlu, it's fun to play the minor horde, overruning Georgia, joining the gangbang against Timur and then unify all of greater Iran under the flag of Persia.
