Favorite Minor Dynasty?

Luckily for you, if you remain Greek / Orthodox and form the kingdom of Sicily then as of 1.07 it should start with those as its conquest 'flag', meaning that the rest of Sicily should convert to Greek culture over time. Then you can be a proper Magna Grecia!

Can't wait for that! Although I just got an Irish wife who's also heir to some small county in Ireland just in case Muslims do win out. Eire = my plan B

Am I the only one who loves Mathilda of Tuscany and her dynasty (di Canossa)? I either start as her or agree to a matrilineal marriage with her for one of my dynasty. I really love to see her dynasty survive. Other favourite (somewhat) minor dynasties include de Toulouse, Wigeriche, and de Savoie.

The barony family de Namur will always have a special place in my heart, and so will the Wigeriche and von Luxemburg. I suppose I've fell in love with the political climate of the Lorraine and all the dynasties struggle for power through marriage and murders.

Lately I've found house of Hvide (White) in Denmark quite interesting, however the game doesn't do them any justice. Hardly represent them or their power correctly, but that's how things are for now I guess.

The Crovans provided me with a fun game that ended as King of Portugal.

The Spartenos, I have to agree, I just love them, despite never having played as them. When in first 1.07 game the offered me fealty I could not refuse. They rule as Despots of Sicily within the empire now.

In my current game I have grown a soft spot for the House Bourgogne, which has fallen on hard times, but they're recovering as Dukes of Sinaï. In fact their previous loyalty has led me to forgive the current duke for being involved in 3 faction wars.

d'Orange, Aquitanian HRE counts. I think they are the ancestors of the current Dutch monarchy, which makes them awesome to play for me.

From the time of CK1 my most ... scratch that ... my only favorite family is Spartenos .

If ever they choose to remove them ( or replace them in the county of Napoli ) , at least 50% of the game will be ruined for me .

From the first Greco-Orthodox Kingdom of Italy , to the throne of Byzantium and , then , the far corners of the known world .

Also , from the time of CK1 , a lesser sympathy was the Atrapes family , although not one of high adventure and glorious conquest like the Spartenos . I mainly played the "evil duke" with them .

I played with the Wigeriche and I had lots of fun with them conquering all Germany and when I was King of Italy I helped some italian emergent families like Gonzaga,Colonna, della Scala and if I remember well also the Cybo-Malaspina (or only Cybo)

Hvide is also a favorite of mine, being able to play skjalm himself is quite cool, but you are right its funny how badly represented they are. They havent even bothered adding Esben Snare!

Mine is the Ua Neill's in Northern Ireland as potentially its my Dynasty being descended from Ireland and being an O'Neill. Historically they were high kings of Ulster but in game they sadly they never seem to make much headway on the Irish throne despite having a claim on a second county in Irelands most powerful duchy at 1066 and starting with 2 a little later.

Good to hear they most have added him since 1.05 then , It was bit weired not having him in the files.

I Better look in the files again then, if they have begun mending the list, one Can hope they have improved the rest aswell

Look after his father, the last son of Skjalm. I'm sure you'll find him with his brother Absalon, Archbishop of Scania/Skåne. I'm sure you'll find him as well even pre-1.05.
