Hi,
I think all you have to do is search this forum or the steam hub for any of our games to see that we do more than allow negative critisism, we often respond to it as well either by stating our views or by addressing issues in actual patches and further development. However, we expect it to be delivered in a constructive manner without abuse etc. You'll have agreed to our forum rules on this board when you signed up so I'd recommend you read through them again if anything seems unclear, as far as the steam hub go you'll find we adopt a similar approach there.
If you are refering to the War of the Vikings Alpha, you have agreed to an NDA as stated both in-game when starting it and on the Steamhub. If you are posting about that publicly you are violating the NDA and the devs have received clear instructions to enforce it. Hope this helps clarify your concerns. Feel free to PM me, for now I will lock this thread as I have replied to your question.
Kind regards
Susana

Does Paradox Interactive have an official policies that developers/development studios have to abide by when dealing with community interaction? I've personally experienced and seen threads/posts being deleted by Fatshark on the steam forums that are critically negative about aspects of their game or company (particularly their past). I can't speak for these paradox boards, but quick Google searches reveal that other people have complained of this exact same issue on third-party sites, so I'm rather nervous this thread will be deleted/locked too.
Back to the point of the problem though; it's definitely not acceptable for a company which advertises itself as being affiliated with paradox to actively censor criticisms against their product. It leaves an extremely foul taste in my mouth I (and many others I would assume) view paradox as a sort of symbol that represents a certain degree of professionalism, and this currently isn't being reflected in the way that Fatshark is dealing with criticism in their forums. Regardless of this all, I'm not sure what Fatshark is attempting to achieve as censoring dissent won't save a mediocre developer. I actually don't care much about Fatshark itself, but my main concern is that it reflects badly on paradox, which in my opinion is one of the few respectable publishers left.
