I'm working on this mod from 2013. All the decisions about map or other events at the start of the game (like the occupation of Serbia) are consolidate and necessary for the events process . More of these improvements have been discuss in the thread with the whole community of Fatherland fan, so i don't want change anything about it.

Will Soviet Russia get some updates as well? As it stands, unless my game was corrupted, there are very few events as you push back into pre-war Russian territories. I got no events for liberating Moscow or Leningrad.

I've got some (quite a few actually) improvements to keep the game running more smoothly, fleshed out some minister files, etc, mainly transplants from Back in the USSA. Still interested? @pakotorino

Hello, just came to report a broken flag_TAG thingy, it seems the Lokot Republic changes name and flag after the SS rebels against Germany, the shield_TAG thingy works fine and the flag is correctly displayed, though the flag_TAG one doesn't show properly over their troops.

Along a tiny question, is it supposed for Lokot to always inherit the German territories around Muscovy? When the Civil War begins they get an event about an opportunity to seize lands, however, from what I checked, Soviet Union is supposed to get it too. BUT, Lokot always gets it first and when USSR gets it, well, it's no longer valid since those lands are no longer GER instead they're Lokot ones.

By the way, I also noticed Imperial Russia and the Far Eastern Republic have Mexican tech teams. :p

I really like the mod , it is very interesting , I played the USA till 1964 , went all the way republicans till Kennedy , was hoping for more politics special with the America first and 60s but it was good enough , was also hoping for more small war like 2nd Indian Pakistani war or Indonesian Dutch war or Scandinavian war .

When I rewrite the folders in the fatherlandX with Xmas fix why does it always starts darkest hour light?

cool, I did notice a few errors though that may need to be looked at,

1. Wallonia doesn't have a claim on Lille (can result in some odd borders if France's government collapses and Germany puppets them)
2. Serbia doesn't have a core on Petrovgrad (Banat) which is possibly preventing the fate of Serbia event from popping up
3. should germany decide to kill France, and it partitions it the remaining part could go to Belgien Frankreich as it is the claimed provinces (even though it should be Belgien-Nordfrankreich)
4. if Germany decides to agree to Degrell's ambitions it only absorbs RK Belgien and not flanders and Wallonia as it should absorb all three

Well, if it was up to me the us would have directly integrated Canada as claimed provinces. Instead of setting up a puppet administration in the region. I would call it the Insular Government of Canada or the Canadian Commonwealth basing it off of the time the United States ruled the Philippine Islands. I did note that your version of the tech tree has some slightly broken units. (that don’t appear in the mod like the lightweight fighter tech which I had fixed in a version of my personal one) the eastern colonization events seem a bit broken but I had partially fixed them by including the ones from edge of darkness and fixing them up to match the ones from that mod. (unless they have been improved)

oh Barbarossa II can’t be triggered as Germany doesn’t annex the Lokot Autonomy when WW3 breaks out.

the Hungarian Romanian borders end up strange when you do the status quo decision as Germany. I had to remove the line removing Oreada as a Hungarian core to fix that.

I had also changed around the starting borders slightly giving Germany direct access to hit Geneva. (which required a change of the Burgundian event chain to get rid of their core on Colmar giving Germany a core on the region)

yea, I did research involving the Burgundian idea and it turns out that it was all Himmler’s idea and likely that he would rule over there instead of in Crimea. (which was slated for eventual colonization so it could probably be transferred over to the Ukrainian RK while the SS tag could be given to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia) that state would also probably have claims on the Italian zone of occupation and Marseilles. (given it was where the old Burgundian state was located in the Middle Ages) these are just some ideas and can be ignored like the ones to extend the Ukrainian reichskommissariat claims to include the land owned by the Lokot at the start in a straight line to the Urals. (Like said claims in DH Full to match those claims of the Caucasian RK (whom should also match the claims of it should the Sochi pact have occurred and the Cossack federation ended up betraying Germany and dying as a result of it.) in the US I think Douglas MacArthur should be the presidential candidate for the Republicans in 1952 given he was planning on being the presidential candidate should the convention vote end up being tied.

Several of your ideas are also in the new release (like the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia i.e.). And yes, there's also McArthur as President ... but not Republican :)
 
I was playing the game lately and had some questions regarding Germany events. I've played into late 50's and Germany is yet to annex the Lokot autonomy as far as I see in the events folder, Lokot will remain independent indefinitely preventing a Barbarossa II. Are there plans to integrate the East Reichcommissariats into Germany proper or at the least get the Reichcommissariats to core their lands?

I have some questions and ideas about some developpments :

- Is there any reason to liberate an unclaimed territoy as Germany (RK Moscow, Burgundy or French socialist State)?
- Is there a way to unite the France peacefully? Same question for China.
- Why is it capped at 5 tech teams?

- When Germany puts Mussolini back in power in Italy, I think an event can be done to set Italo-German relations at 200 with end of the sanctions, or take some territorial concessions (South Tyrol and/or Istria) or puppet him maybe?

- Concerning the arbitration of the Romano-Hungarian conflict : When the Hungarian refuse I think there should be an event about a possible capitulation of the Hungarian (like they lose a number of national provinces and then they have an event saying "Should we ask for peace?"/"Fight until death!"). If they opt for capitulation the Germans have an event "Ask for the Romanian territories"/"They should know their place : give Romania and give Yugoslav claims/give Slovak claims"/"Puppet them/puppet and dismantle them between our allies"/"We will end this war and annex them". Then the Hungarian get the event with the German wishes and can accept or refuse. I also think doing something like Switzerland if you annex without event but with possibility to just annex them.

- If France falls Ultra-collaborationist, I think Italy should have an event/decision to ask the Germans for their territories (if they haven't give up their claims). Also Germany should have an event about what to do with them as Hitler and the SS wanted to dismantle France irl. I think the new States should be Britanny, Burgundy (big, with Dijon), Normandy (North East), Provence (South East, if not given to Italy), and Occitania (South West), Corsica being given to Italy anyway. The possibility should be to keep a French RK, to keep France RK and giving Italy their claims, to dismantle France, to dismantle France giving Italy their claims.

- I think India should have a chain of events making them claim the Indian subcontinent (unite Ceylon and Pakistan and possibly Afghanistan) or create an alliance with China.

- There is also a bug as Italy : if you have Croatia as a puppet and Hitler dies, they break free from Italy.

At today the existance of Lokot Autonomy is the trigger to permit a launch of Barbarossa II or not, exactly.
But i can take a look about it for the next version.

I found that manchukuo event 150010 could make manchuria mobilize without gaining manpower.

I be going to take a look.

Partially. The next version is focused on American continent and especially on US path.
Some major bug are fixed anyway.

The unclaimed territories (like RK Moscow for example) are not in game 'cause there aren't events (or dedicated paths) about them. I discourage an hand release (all releasable countries are relesable from events).

Hey now this isnt required or anything its just a dumb thing I thought about which doesnt affect gameplay 99% of time. And that is I noticed if you leave the Axis for example manually you do not get any debuffs or anything. In my opinion leaving the axis should come with big drawbacks. I for example started as Serbia one game and just left and nobody cared. I really doubt that Nazi Germany would let their subjects leave without doing anything. Just my opinion. But I understand that the events are supposed to be followed for 99% of the game. Anyways I also wanna say this is great mod and I wish you the best in future development. I enjoy it alot. Great job!!!!!!!!
