Fatherland Mod - "X" version

I think the US would have a hard time in this timeline politically. For one presidents like Eisenhower would not be in the picture. (Since he would not be considered a hero, or a useful veteran.)
The case would be between isolationism and interventionism. Both would be a mini-game in this mod. If either bar is at the top, than a coup would happen. Why?
If the US dangles in too much foreign affairs, than they would use up too much resources and focus too little on internal affairs.
In this case a socialist uprising could happen in US soil.
If they focus too much on internal and too little on international matters, than a military coup coud happen. (Since the military would not be happy about the world slipping to the extremist ways.) This could possibly be lead by Eisenhower. So he could this way be president, but not in electoral way.

The Reich on the other hand be in the position of otl Soviets. They have the means to be everywhere, but not the money. The AI or player could decide which theaters are they supporting and which would they ignore. If they support everyone, than they would be bankrupt fast.

I'd see a mokumentary about him and i think could be the man to lead a US hostile with nazi and commie at the same matter with a Paternal Autocrat government lead by the former senator.

Dang this mod took a strange direction, for one, I don't believe the Reich would actually possess domination over Africa.

I've always thought that the most likely scenario after a Nazi Victory would be domination in Europe, while the colonies in Africa are taken away from axis countries. (Cof, Italy, cof)

In America I don't see a plausible coup I know it's important to make the mod interesting and fun to play but, I don't know, it's just kinda weird to see something like that taking place in USA.

I think that the general direction this mod had was quite good and don't misunderstand this, I love this mod but I felt it quite unique while I feel it's now taking a Kaiserreich-y shift.

Anyways, this is just my opinion, not shading the mod nor the creator.

Oh, I say it because in a part of your post you mention as if you'll change it to have an Axis presence in Africa. Of course it can happen later as the Cold War evolves, I just felt you said that about the beginning.

I've played many times, I even wrote an alternate history focused around my Germany (and later Crazy SS-run Germany) game, which I'm currently editing by the way.

I really like this mod as it feels as the most plausible approach to a Nazi-USA cold war. But if I'm not wrong, I remember reading that you wanted to implement something like a "path" to create the bigger Soviet Union from 1964 mod or something like that I don't remember the name.

Adding Manchuria while it broke the immersion the game had, it was an interesting decision. I played as them, quickly made Korea my puppet (I wanted their troops) and eventually I won the Chinese Civil War. It was such a good game.

Recently I wanted to play as the Russian Empire, I know it's not one of the "finished" countries but I felt it could be interesting as it had already cores over Russia. But, to my surprise the tech teams were Mexican ones, while I remember that one time there was this... "Patch" for the mod that extended end date to 1989 I believe while also reworking the tech teams at the Russian area.

So, as I say, I've played many times this mod because it's one of my favourites. I enjoy it so much so I hope you didn't get offended by my opinion, I really appreciate and value your work.

Btw, one time I also played as Japan, I mixed in some events from Thunder in the Sky and Woah, that was a crazy ride.

Robert W. Welch Jr. He founded the John Birch Society which is essentially a far right anti communist organization. It could be converted into an anti Nazi organization. That’s your call

Curtis LeMay He developed the bobbing campaign against Japanese islands. Since this was the successful front in this timeline, he could be popular. He also ran as George Wallace’s running mate in 1968 on a segrgationalist platform.

Pax Americana could be the completion of Manifest Destiny. The US would have sole dominion over both of the American continents.

Sometime around 1956, "Ten years after the raising up of the Iron Curtain on Europe, Germany's once proud Wehrmacht now reduced to physiological defects and diseases including, anemia, muscular and skeletal hyperatrophy...," could read an American newspaper. Put these Nazi Green event ideas on the backburner as there must be hundreds of more important things to get done, but do return full force to flesh the game out at the end with flavorful(tastes like barbecue!) events.

But there is a problem/bug at least for me: the effect of Foreign Minister of all country are wrong and weird. I have attached some picture of my game.. This problem happened always for me.. No matter wich Pc i use.. I tried to see the mod's files and to make compareison with files of other mods.. i don't untersand why for this mod it's so..( P.S. in all other mods the effect of Foreign Minister are normal) Thanks for any answer! What's your point? If you believe it violates the forum then contact an admin. I've been told already by an admin not to post blogs but you seem to believe this is fake journalism in service to promoting "violent and hateful rhetoric?" Is that your argument? I posted it because it shows how hilariously totalitarian the Nazis solutions were and would be great fodder for flavor events or even gameplay affecting decisions.If I had a better article ir essay detailing some possible Nazi Green solutions I'd have posted them.

About the develpoment in progress ... just a small update.
I'm working on the new chain about US with a possible isolationist outcome on the sketch i've posted some post ago, but it's a really hard work ...
The South America zone is 80% complete with new paths for Colombia, Venezuela, new Peru-Ecuador war (with the possible intervention of Colombia\Venezuela) and a Platinean war reworked.
On the Central America i need to made new events about the centroamerica federation (and US intervention),
I've made also some fix here and there and add new events about Japan, Italy and others (flavour events).
But the main change is in the tech tree, about a new organization of Land Doctrine for all countries (now with tech dedicated for Axis,UN and Comintern).
Stay tuned, I'll you know my progress.

Too many humans is the factor to all of conditions. Perhaps it's time to admit that billions of people is the problem since the end of WWII, not some simple excuse like our consumption. If we find a way to feed 8 billion people, we'll need to find out how to feed 12 billion and it will only keep rising. There is a reason for omnivorous creatures, and it has nothing to do with trying to attempt to maintain and increase billions of people on a planet that desperately needs our reduction. Don't look at the first-world nations either, the third-world has been receiving wealth from the first-world in the form of subsidies, purely subsidies, food and medicine and what good has any of that done except to distract them from their need of having a strong culture not at whim to the global economy and a sustainable population.

I would certainly enjoy seeing many Green events implemented in the mod. Ecofascism only has the characteristic of a centralized governing authority but its ideals follow the conservative, and feudal approach to natural spaces, which was to leave as much as possible free from human habitation and use of any sort. It wouldn't be possible given the mechanics of the game, unless setting the resources in a province to zero can be done, or proxy-vassals that somehow don't give resources to the overlord can be created. All of this should only be implemented in a Futurist sci-fi vein, where for instance, Germany would have discovered materials that can replace a need for mining certain materials previously thought to have no substitutes, while maintaining full-strength military forces that then benefit from higher quality materials. Call me crazy, but if Anglos didn't let the Commies conquer half the globe, including Europe, I bet we'd have satellites orbiting Jupiter's moons by now. Instead, we're massively overpopulated and committing ecocide by endless expansion.
