anyways for the first Prime Minister (HOG) of Manchukuo I suggest https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Tseng-Tsiang, I suggest him for two reasons A. he will die in 1949, and B. He was Prime Minister of the ephemeral Empire of China.

I suggest you replace the flag of Fascist China with this flag (it is the Army flag of the Republic of China prior to 1928) instead of using a fictional flag

@Conquerer1234 Eh. I wouldn't recommend using the Wuhan flag as a national flag for a fascist China. Despite its revolutionary origins the flag by the time period we're looking at was effectively yet another symbol of warlordism, flown by a large percentage of warlord armies due to its role as the army flag of the Beiyang regime. A KMT dominated China adopting a symbol most associated with the warlord armies just seems really odd. Really the fictional flag works fine here, still following the whole idea of Blue Sky, White Sun, and Wholly Red Earth without being identical - not to mention we've got a fictional regime.

I've not got any grievances with the current design myself, though if you wanted an alternative perhaps one of these designs would suffice? Two somewhat Nazi looking designs based of a Blue Shirt standard.

Also chanced across this design that's certainty got a nice look to it.

As I said, no issues with the current flag personally but I alsince it was brought up would happily whip up a set up a counter, shield, and flag strip if you wanted to use any of these designs. Do enjoy the occasional dabble in vexillology.

@pakotorino tried out three variants involving yellow backgrounds. Two maintaining the red, keeping the original KMT colour scheme in there.

Mengjiang is a good idea if the Kwantung is in power. They could use them easily to keep the Chinese in check. Also they could be useful in a campaign for Mongolia. The Kwantung desperately need allies and troops and a victory in the chaotic Mongolian part would give just that.
Chinese could also use the Mengjiang territory and claim Mongolia as an integral part of China (which they did multiple times.)
One more thing. If Manchuria goes expansionist without Kwantung and the Far Eastern Republic is attacked by the Allies or Siberia, than they should have a chance too to claim northern provinces and attack FER.
Mengjiang in itself would not conquer Mongolia in itself, but if they are there, than Mongolia could have an event about a brooming coup an whether or not to crush it.

@Francis E. Dec

Have it and tried it.
Doesn't work with my Photoshop copy. Admittedly, it's a freeware older one and I might not be doing something right, but the point stands.

@Khor

Love it! It always irked me how Mongolia just basically existed to be eaten by the Bolshevik blob, but that could just be my Mongolphila talking.

With the Soviets collapsing into civil war in Siberia, I wonder if it would be possible for Mengjiang to have conquered Communist Mongolia. At this point the Soviets most likely will withdraw there forces to deal with the rebellions in Siberia. The Kwantung army, while weakened could still beat Mongolia. In 44 or 45 Japan could have exploited Soviet collapse to expand their influence in Asia. They already occupied the far east, so what's stopping Japan from conquering Mongolia?

Interesting idea. I think we should vote. I like your idea, because if I think about it, it would strengthen the Kwantung survival rate. Although I think the Kwantung rule would be very fragile there, with the supply chain stretched and the population while they would accept Mengjiang rule, they wouldn't really care about the Japanese.

I think the Kwantung should put a chinese puppet as leader as it would be easier to control the population, mosty chinese with a 2-3% percent japanese, probably the koreans would leave for Korea and maybe some japanese nationalists would leave Japan for Manchukuo.

The new China under Puyi could have his Imperial flag, reforms should be made to stop the chine unrest, they would need allies like Mongolia for the reason that China will try to annex them and is better to have them as allies that to ocupy them, they already had problems in Manchukuo.

I have a pretty weird idea and I don't know what people would say. So we talked about RK Lombardien, which gave me an idea. The radical choices in the Reich events (like the SS route) would pretty much control Europe. If some nation would step up, they wouldn't just destroy it, they would carve it up and colonise it if they can. (Which they did otl.)
So how would that look and what would they be called. I'm speculating that they would use historical ideas, so they would've possible used Germanic tribal names were they could as to show everyone that they again became the new masters of those lands. (They would not destroy the population, just rule it as an upper-class much like the 5th century Germanic onslaught.)
So the names:
RK Gepidia (which would mostly be in Romanian territory)
Rk Ostrogothia (which would be in Hungarian territory mostly)
RK Frankonia (northern France. Sometimes people forget, that the French were Germanic)
RK Visigothia (southern France and Spain)
RK Sueben (north Spain and partially Portugal)
RK Vandalen (north Africa)
RK Sachsen (south England)

(New tags are not needed, the current ones would be fine until the new patch, it would just mean a new government, new flag and new name mostly.)
