@pakotorino

Well, since you helped me and a collaborator of mine with a modding project of ours, I feel it's only right that I return the favor.
Anything you need help with in particular?

Thank you so much dear, i'm really glad to help the community :)
Anyway ... if you want there could be the need of flavour events for the minor (for examples ... Bulgaria or Turkey) or made a path to a possibile crisis in India with struggle of commie or another crisis with Pakistan ... let me known !

It definitely sounds like an interesting path to take! Apologies for the questions but is there much difference between the different successors of Stalin (Beria, Zhukov or Molotov)?

Time ago, when we've made the sketch chain, we had think something like this ...
- Beria : More repressive, enemy for Germany but also but also not loved by Allies,isolationist
- Molotov : Diplomatic,very cautios, more diplomatic and loved by Allies,with an eye to Asia
-Zhukov : Warmonger, planning to made the revo all around the Asia,ambiguous approach with Allies
... and something of this sketch path are in the events.

I may not know much about event writing, but I'd be glad to help with the Bulgarian flavour events.

Just a small update ...
I've made the integration of the complete cold war tech tree and add some events and fix some bugs.
@battles25 is working on a redraw of Soviet area and i've add also some new events chain for middle east and a new path for a Wermacht Germany (Hitler is dead event chain).
We hope to made a new release soon.

Did you fix the minor bugs?
- SS not having any tech teams, so not upgrading
- Unit and nation tech levels too low (1942 elite units in 1948) etc.

These are not game-breaking, but annoying really. (Mostly for one that decides to play with minors.)
This mod has changed a lot in the last year or so to a wonderful way. I hope you keep up the great work.

Need more info, is savedebug saying anything?
Were they previously loaded and now not anymore or perhaps they were never loaded?
In the latter case, perhaps they're not added to db/ministers.txt?

No, the savedebug say nothing.
Ministers are correctly in the db/ministers.txt (when i start the game they are in their position, only after the loading of the save they disappear).
In the .eug file they are correctly in their position and aren't in the dormant_ministers section.

Here the code
Code:
    HeadOfState = { type = 9 id = 1105001 }
    HeadOfGovernment = { type = 9 id = 1105002 }
    ForeignMinister = { type = 9 id = 1105003 }
    ArmamentMinister = { type = 9 id = 1105004 }
    MinisterOfSecurity = { type = 9 id = 1105005 }
    MinisterOfIntelligence = { type = 9 id = 1105006 }
    ChiefOfStaff = { type = 9 id = 1105007 }
    ChiefOfArmy = { type = 9 id = 1105008 }
    ChiefOfNavy = { type = 9 id = 1105009 }
    ChiefOfAir = { type = 9 id = 1105010 }

Check the starting year in the minister file. This could happen is the ministers all have a starting year > current year (or if they are all dormant).

I've check also that but seems all correct ...

Savedebug level o or level 1? Try with level 1 and then check 1 after saving a game where this happens.
Are these nations present at scenario start or after an event that creates them? Try copying a minister from another nations where you know it works (changing its id) and see if that works. There's probably something missing somewhere.

BTW: it's possible that I won't be able to answer in the following days, unfortunately.

Two asiatic problems

1) Mongolia is called MON824 or kind of

2) National China has mixed ministers: there're some military ministers as 'Minister of security' or 'Minister of Foreign Relation'

Has the claims been revised? I mean there was quite a lot of weird things happening, but just to mention a few:
- If Hungary annexes Romania, and than they are releasing it again, than Hungary keeps a few provinces in the north like Batla, or Balti (I forgot the name). Nobody has claims on those, so they stayed in Hungarian hands.
- SS Crimea goes to war with Romania over a few provinces, which was not claimed before, and they don't share a border, so the Germans, and RK Ukraine kills Romania which doesn't make sense
- Imperial Russian claims
- Lokot Republic and Rk Moscowien claims need a serious revision
- Rk Kaukasus does not claim Cossack Federation provinces, even if those are dead. Practically nobody claims those provinces. (A sidenote here: in ww2 many German soldiers believed that as a reward they will be resettled in the Caucasus and Don territories as a reward for their efforts. There were some vague plans, that the soldiers fighting there will have permission to settle. The villagers provided food and supplies to the Wehrmacht forces and they remained more or less loyal to the Reich. There was also a Cossack uprising two weeks before Barbarossa started. I'm reeding Beevors Stalingrad book now.)
- Puppet England claims
- If the Reich is victorious, but Zhdanov is still there, or if the Turkestan nation was victorious earlier, than the map is looking weird. There will be provinces remaining in German hands because they can't release an RK like this

These are just a few. It is not that big of a deal, but sometimes it looks weird.

A few ideas to add:

- If Imperial Russia or a right wing nation releases Mongolia, than it shouldn't contain the former Stalinist leaders. There was no real right-wing group there, but quite a lot of monarchists. The Head of State could be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demchugdongrub who was otl Mengjiang leader. He descended from the Borjigin clan, so he is suited quite well to lead Mongolia as a monarch. (The Stalinist purges and the Mongolian communist raids killed the most prominent nobles, so he rose very fast in the succession ranks.)

WOW, it is three AM, do you know what that means?

Time for another suggestion

The state of the french...state, again, this post is inspired on the anglo american nazi war, to quote here part of the book:

"National forces were fielded by nations that had more or less joined the German wars voluntarily, these were chiefly forces from Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Italy, Hungary, Norway, Romania, and Slovakia, with France joining these early allied states in late 1945, The National forces had notional independent command under their respective governments, but all were obligated to a greater or lesser degree, to follow Berlin’s specific directions in military matters. All of the National forces were able to, if they desired, manufacture their own weapons and other equipment, including in the case of Italy and France, their own aircraft and warship designs."

Basically there are three kinds of armies in europe

The german army (Wehrmacht and SS)
The national armies, that are composed of armies of states allied to germany, that apart from italy and france, adopted German equipment and their mobility doctrine
And the pan european divisions, composed mostly of "undersirables" and slavic auxiliaries, they are mostly militia with left over equipment, but very well trained (and pressed) to fight

Well, on the current version of the Fatherland scenario, one of the possible ways to start WWIII is to have france to try to defect the axis and join the allies, and this usually get''s france crushed because it's army is small and the allies cannot flood it with troops

Meanwhile, in the AANW there is a very important thing that should be taken notion here, first some info taken from Petáin Biographic website:

"As of July 3, 1940, the Minister for Defense entrusts to the General of the DOOR OF the THEIL the responsibility to deal with these men. It is the starting point of the "Building sites" but it is also the starter of an experiment which will be at the origin of a great policy of Youth. Polytechnician and former Police chief of Scouts de France, the General of the DOOR OF the THEIL has the idea to divide the young people of this quota given up in camps to install in full nature, out of the barracks and the cities. This idea is officialized on July 31 by a decree signed by the Marshal deciding that the young people called will be versed for one six months period in "Groupings of Youth...""...
June 29, 1941 in Vichy Marshal PETAIN solemnly gives their National Flag to the Building sites of Youth during an imposing ceremony gathering an enthusiastic crowd. The Flag is deposited with the Museum of the Army since 1970.
Thus from 1940 to 1944, in spite of the defeat and the occupation, four hundred and fifty thousand young French framed by twenty thousand heads accepted thanks to the "Building sites" a physical, civic formation and morals which gave them the taste of the life in the open air, the respect of nature, the direction of the team work and the love of their country."

My point? Well, when the war goes hot in the anglo american nazi war, the french population already have been under the pact of steel for a while, someone born in 1930 would have joined the french youth organizations in 1942. By 1948 (when the fatherland mod starts), most of the french youth would already been indocrinated, and the prospect of them cooperating with the allies would be unlikely, there wouldn't have such a mass flight of volunteers and the reception of american troops with flowers as it did OTL, in the scenario the americans reduced Lyon to ruins due the massive resistence put by the french army combined by the wehrmacht

So my sugestion is during the late Hitler era (1948-1951/2/3) in the mod, France should consolidate his power as a axis nation, rebuild it's army (maybe change to the mobility doctrine as the wehrmacht or continue the standart french doctrine). Of course, a hardline player could keep france as a poor impoverished puppet state and have it to defect, but a saner player and the AI need to rebuild france - on their standarts - because we are talking about a country with fourty million people, that is this close to the Uk, they are crucial to have in their side in WWIII
