Fastest way to Library/Infirmary Spire upgrade

So, I'm in the early Act 2, and I really want to get Lore trainer super soon.

I have overheard lots of stuff on this on the forum and wiki, and wanted to get a coherent correct story. Please correct me if anything is wrong below!

• There are supposed to be lore trainers in Infirmary and Library upgrades.
• To get upgrades you need to get second spire.
• There is a spire in Lethian's Crossing.
• Lethian's Crossing is broken (FUBAR) if I go there before going to Tunon's Court.
• Lethian's Crossing is still broken if I go there after visiting Tunon but before going to Disfavored or Chorus Archon.

So I have visited Iron Hearth and Graven Ashe (since I sided with Disfavored). It's unclear if at this time, I should go to Lethian's Crossing - will it be ok? Should I first figure out Stalwart quests or some other quests?

Is there another spire that is faster to achieve?

The Spire in the Crossing is normally the quickest to get. If you are Disfavoured you'll have to kill off the entire Bronze Brotherhood first though. Hm, you could try your luck in the Azure region, if that's open, there is 2 spires to claim there. The first one (with the arguing Stonestalkers/Earthshakers) should be relatively simple to get.

You can get to the spire as disfavored (and, I assume, any other path) before being sent there. Just walk into the crossing, walk into the spire, take the 2 rubbings you can reach at that time, and it's more than enough to activate it. If you can't figure out the figure from those 2 rubbings, you can look it up online, but really it's completely clear from just those 2.

Thanks. I ended up doing that, after talking to Graven Ashe. I had to kill several bands of Bronze Brotherhood there. (they wouldn't appear if I went there before going to Tunon's Court). 2 rubbings were definitely enough.
