Fantastic Game...but help I want to Cry!

I've clocked up 25 hours of this game and loving it (it's not perfect) but it's great fun and the new timetable feature is a stroke of genius...now onto what my problem... I just played hours on a map and got my tram and metro and buses working how I wanted them too I save the game via the cloud - I exit back to the menu for a break - I come back and load my game back from the cloud and it loads fine - after no more than two minutes my PC blue screens - I reboot my PC and reload CIM2 - when I load my game back from the cloud its gone! all that loads is a blank map with no city and my money is default back to 100k!

Dev's is there anyway to recover my old game? is there anyway to recover the good gamesave from the cloud? Help...! thanks in advance

This is very sad!

Usually when conflicts between what you have in your computer (probably erased after the blue screen) and what Steam have in the cloud gets in conflict, you receive a warning asking what you want to do: upload your version or download the version from the cloud. You didnt get this warning?

You can also hope your offline version is all right and try to make it work. Now I'm just completely guessing, no knowledge about it, you can go to the maps folder of the game and rename the saved game file, if its there and reload the game. Your saved game is here: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2

just tried that and i got my game back - seems like the cloud version of the gamesave got corrupt - CO please add an autosave feature which doesn't overwrite the previous gamesave offline - thanks for a great game!

Steamcloud is always somewhat risky, as it tends to overwrite your more up-to-date local savegame. The problem is not limited to CiM2 at all.

Okay I stopped saving the game onto the steam cloud, but started to save it offline - and guess what happened after 5 hours of play and regularly backing up the game (to the same gamesave file) I decided to take a break so I saved the game exited the game as you do and what happens, it blue screens on me. On booting my laptop back and reloading the game - went my latest gamesave (which offline not on steam cloud) and what happens its a blank map (again!) 5 hours of gameplay wasted!

I love this game but this crashing is causing me major hurt.. - Help CO! Hope you can patch this - there is definately an issue with game crashing.
