Fanny Jabcovsky

I noticed a number of people were intrigued by the addition of a svelte new portrait for Argentina's Communist leader in the first patch. However, there appears to be a case of mistaken identity when it comes to the reference image that was used - the leader is Fanny Jabcovsky, but the portrait is based on a photo of Fanny Schoonheyt. Both women were veterans of the Spanish Civil War and shared the same distinctive pet name; on account of this, as noted on the website of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives, it isn't uncommon for them to be misidentified as each other.

I noticed the Argentinian Communist leader was uniquely gendered. I looked her up but didn't notice that she has the wrong portrait. It appears that you're right.

Maybe Paradox's art people are aware of their conflation and they'll eventually make a unique portrait for Jabcovsky. I'm not sure if this is technically a bug.

I've only been able to find two photos that I'm confident are actually of her in her younger years. Unfortunately, neither can be definitively dated at this point.

The second photograph I would assume to be circa 1936 (she married the man in the photo, Bernardo Edelman, in that year). The first one looks like it was taken quite a bit later, I'd personally guess the 1950s.
