I was curious to hear your thoughts about the Fanatic Purifier's limitation to a certain set of ethics (Military + Extreme Xenophobe).
I find it a shame that it does not allow for other combinations with, for example, Psi (to create for example Riddick's Necromonger, who I think would be Spiritual + Authoritarian + Military - they are not that xenophobe as they assimilate others into their ranks). Other combinations to think of that are popular in sci-fi are robots that wipe out the galaxy (in a sense the AI crisis does exactly that, but the player can not build a robot empire around purifiers).
One way to co-op with that, but I do not know if it is possible. Is to start off with Spirit+Authoritarian+Military and build an empire. It can unlock Psi via spirit (in the case of Necromongers, at least the Lord Marshal is what in Stellaris can be considered Psi), and as the game progresses manage factions until your empire tips into Military + Xenophobe and take the civic. Question here is: do you get to keep the Psi unlocks?
