Thank you so much @Specialist290! This is a very pleasant surprise, especially coming from you, who I read every comment on the Before Plantagenet AAR. We share a common love for the Accursed Kings series that I hope more english speakers will read.

Again, thanks to @JabberJock14 for his work (and his wife who seems to have helped a lot on part 3).

As I'm not a true master of words (especially in english), I'm gonna, as always, hide behind an image.

I seem - inexplicably - not to have specifically congratulated @Specialist290 for his win last week. I hereby remedy that now, for a FANtastastic commentAAR who always brings wisdom and pleasure to those lucky enough to receive his comments. I know I always feel a little surge of happiness and anticipation every time an alert comes up to say he has commented on one of my AARs. :)

And hearty congrats for the new recipient @Werther - I loved your pic: nicely done.

First, please forgive me if I butcher your beautiful language.

And so, as elective succession rules this thread, it is time for me to nominate my heir.

But before doing so, please let me introduce you to a very distant land that is called AARs Francophones.

A long, long time ago, in this exotic place, life was booming. AARs were plenty, readers and authors alike were living in pAARadise.

But alas, came the Great Schism. Why and how it took place is not the purpose of this post and to be honest, even the wisest historians tend to disagree about it.

Suffice to say that this distant land is now cold, empty and dark. It is said that, when the Moon is full, you can sometimes come across a lost soul, wandering in this desperate realm, asking in a 6 years old AAR why his new version of CK2 is not up to date. We call them Reading Deads.

But, I stubbornly continued to write my AARs.

Thought my long trip I was not alone. Some readers were and are still there, wandering in the waste, eager to find a bonfAAR to warm their cold eyes. So, I want to thank all of them, and particularly Gigau who is not only an accomplished creator of a wonderful mod, but also a loyal reader who followed my Byzantine AAR for two years. I also want to thank Graymarch who regularly comment in my current one.

But I can only nominate one, so I want to honour @The Number 9 who read and comment my stories for years now. Thank you, readers like you are why writAArs keep writing.

So, congrats to @The Number 9, you are the new Fan of the Week.

Werther, while my poor non-French-speaking self can't help you personally, I do want to commend you for keeping the fires alive in a forgotten and far-neglected corner of AARland.

And congrats @The Number 9! :D
