Well, it's about that time again -- technically, actually, I'm probably a little late if I'm honest.
Time and energy have kept me from putting together my usual recommendation list, but honestly, I could point to the signatures and Inkwells of the many fine authAARs who have already commented in this thread. I can't promise that I've read every single work or even every single authAAR, but the vast and overwhelming majority of those that I have have always left me coming away with something worthwhile, and even for those that I haven't... well, you never learn if you don't occasionally try something new, do you?
I do have to confess that, like many recipients in the recent (and sometimes not-so-recent) past, I feel like I'm getting this award right at the time that I feel like I'm entering a bit of a slump in my activity here. Still, I always count it a particular honor whenever I'm lucky enough to be the next recipient -- after all, my own philosophy is that it's quality, not quantity, that really counts.
As always, I try to make a point to find "new blood" to pass this award on to whenever it comes into my hands. Usually that means finding some eager up-and-comer, but today it's going to someone who already has a bit of a presence here in AARland -- enough of one, in fact, that I'm rather surprised they haven't gotten this award before.
Therefore, it is my honor and privilege to be the first to name @eoncommander as our new Fan of the Week! Come on down and claim your prize!
