The royal family names are screwed up, for example the current royal house of England in my game sounds Polish! Funnily enough, as France I got a RM with Austria and the next day my heir became Lois von Habsburg!

Well... Bernadotte isn't exactly a Swedish surname, but they have been the royal family for over 200 years now
IMHO that a polish noble can become king over England is one thing that makes HttT great!

I'm not educated in this field so I can't say I'm certain of this, but.. from what I've observed like whole of Europe was ruled by seemingly random Nobles from random countries, like the name of the house is bound to the location, not the person that IS the house, so it's really no longer surprising that I see "unrelated" surnames in certain countries.

Although that what makes the game interesting, I wouldn't have wanted anything else !

Indeed! It's only realistic. "Foreign" dynasties have always been common.

Some more examples, apart from those already mentioned:

- Bourbon in Spain and in Naples.
- Habsburg in Austria, Spain, Burgundy, and elsewhere (being originally Swiss).
- Pfalz in Sweden.
- Holstein-Gottorp in Sweden.
...etc etc etc.
