Do we know if we can alter the succession laws in monarchies? I am interested in absolute cognatic primogeniture. Or if this succession may be modable?
I think the CK inheritance system doesn't really work well for Roman era because heirs were often non-blood related, but just adopted. Many full grotwn men would be adopted by the Roman Emperor due to no blood heirs.
I mean I love CK in all its glory but the medieval political system doesn't fit in the Roman political system. There no claims and church after all.
I didn't intend to mean that I wanted to see CK systems in Rome, but I do want similar RP/character systems. The Roman government was highly complex and politics was a major part of the scene, while CK wouldn't be re-created, a Rome system of comparable complexity and satisfaction could be.
